I am wearing another belated St. Urho’s Day outfit. If you’re confused, see the previous post that explains this now-international holiday that began as a prank – a tall tale invented holiday that has spread across America and back to Finland. This dress is from Ivalde – called Enya. Hmmmm…should I have gotten it in green and worn it yesterday? Well, for the drinking, dancing and purple libations of St. Urho’s it’s perfect – especially for the dancing. The skirt is magnificent.
I love tiered, gathered skirts and this one is particulary well done with the fabulous broomstick pleating and the subtle gradations in fabrics. The Pixel Dust Cocktail shoes are a great match and for partying, what could be better than shoes names after cocktails. These particular ones are called Cosmos. Each pair comes in a pule and strappy version.
The bold Petal Meg plum cyclament necklace and earrings make a strong statement and that is matched by the energy and zest of the Mirai Style hair. Don’t forget, if there’s any desire on your part to buy real life versions of Second Life designs, Petal Meg is a real life jeweler who brings her designs into SL.
This Gala skin is just yummy!
