Abraxxa Anatine has gone Halloween crazy. It was not that long ago she released the Desmodus jewelry in all their batwing glory, and now she has released Eww! Spiders! This is a delicate and intricate jewelry set, nearly as delicate as the web weavers that inspired it.

So, I have to quibble about the name. It should be Oooh! Spiders! because spiders are such lovely, handy little beasties.  They eat mosquitoes, no-see-ems, wood ticks and horse flies, what more can you ask of any creature?  And yet, they do more. They spin beautiful webs of intricate lace that inspire our art and imagination.

This photo givees you a sense of the delicacy and fine details in the jewelry. One of the things I like about EarthStones jewelry is the lovely silver and gold colors. They are the color of high quality metals, not brassy, not too bright, not too shiny. That makes them slightly more difficult to measure in a photo but immeasurably more beautiful in world.

To show it off, I wore this wonderfully witchy dress from Black Arts with a plunging neckline that defies gravity.  Let’s just say in real life, I would lay some silicone tape along the neckline to help it stay connected to the skin.Thankfully, in SL it does that on its own.

The plunging back is a visual representation of the law that what goes up must come down.

Digital Dragon Designs red black widow shoes really bring it all together – it’s color reflecting the spider’s torsos and the web tracery  answering the theme.
