I’m Walkin’….Except I’m Not

There are some bloggers who do an amazing job of reflecting a variety of skin tones when sharing new releases from creators. I’m not one of them. I think my instinctual nod would go to Sydd Sinister. There are probably others.

I’m always impressed with the amount of effort it takes to make a gorgeous contact sheet style post showing all the options with a skin or hair release. I decided to shake myself up and choose a totally different skin tone for myself, simply because in Second Life we can be whomever we want. Continue reading →

As If It Were A Thing

Americans are morally obliged to do a beach thing for the 4th of July. If we can’t get to a beach we’re obliged to do some other sort of outdoor thing that is BEACH LIKE in nature. In SL of course, I have no constraints on location so I found a perfect beach spot to hang out and spend some quality me time in the sun.

The Prodigal Alt Returns

It was only a matter of time before she showed back up. She arrived shortly after dawn and asked where the coffee was, as if I was supposed to have it ready. I already had a full day on my schedule, and no time right then for socializing – but she said she’d just hang out at the house and wait for me to return.

As usual she’s been living in sandboxes, tanning and wearing 1L clothes (note the Larry jeans, always 1L on MP) and generally being a mess in her SL. I wondered if I could even get her into a mesh body or would her luddite impulses prevail? Continue reading →

Early Morning Cheefulness

Ok I can’t help it, at some point in my SLife – despite a fierce love of sleep – I became a cheerful morning person. I like to slowly enjoy my coffee, some music, some quiet. It’s a lovely way to start my day.
