Cookies are a valid breakfast. I decided this morning that only cookies would do, and at the same time I realized there are “breakfast cookies” and “diet cookies” and this really means that cookies are now officially a good for you food, right? Such Winter
I’m excited to be reveling in winter in SL while having lovely days in RL. Yay for living in a warmer part of the country. I am not sure what the new year holds, a lot of people are making resolutions. Do you make them? I sometimes feel like resolutions are just attention whoring “Look at me look at me!” but maybe they’re genuine attempts at making positive changes. It’s definitely not for me to say!

Time for Decorating
I’ve been adding some touches around the house, and so I thought I’d share what I’ve been up to on a Saturday morning. Alouette has released a lovely table with fall decor and a clock, perfect for an entry way or hall needing a little touch.
I also put a coffee station right in my foyer, no more pesky walking to the kitchen to obtain coffee. Walking is for peasants I tell you !
Now that I’ve got a hot beverage, I guess it’s time to sort out how to play WoW again since the WoD launch. It’s hard, all these video game things to sort out.
I’ll figure it out eventually. Perhaps shortly after I have this macaron?
Or tomorrow. After all, tomorrow is another day.

Casual Friday in The Cold
The cold chill this week sent me running for my sweaters in all lives. This fuzzy amazing sweater from Ison is always going to sit on the top of my sweater shelf, it’s so gorgeously textured, I have to love it. My jeans from SOMNIA that have appliers for my Physique body are a perfect fit with big sweaters like this. Mixing up applier clothes with mesh has become one of my new favorite things. And THIS Is Why 6 AM Shopping Is A Bad Idea
So this happened. I went to the CHAPTER FOUR because I saw a pic of a cute sweatshirt that FISHY STRAWBERRY had out, and I HAD TO HAVE IT. I’m all SL broke right now bcse QAVIMATOR went to hell but that’s a different story. So ANYWAY – had to have it, I had a cup of coffee barely touched, TP’d right in and went right to the shirts I wanted. YAY I saw the one I wanted, made my purchase and TP’d home, full of joy with my whimsical purchase.
Except I got dressed and it didn’t say what I wanted. I wanted the one that said MORE ISSUES THAN VOGUE. MINE DIDN’T SAY THAT !! I tried both colors. I gave up and shot them as is. And I sent FAE a note, saying OMG MY SHIRT IS WRONG /weeps.

All About that Bass
I do not pay a lot of attention to the Hot 100 as most of the songs recently seem to have Idol-itis – overproduced and full of melisma. However, someone on plurk mentioned having All About that Bass stuck in her head so I was curious and listened to it. I was surprised by its retro doo woo sound and was happy that such a positive body image song was leading the charts. Pop music popularity is dominated by the tweens, so the song’s popularity makes me optimistic about “kids today.”
