Feels Like Fall

I have to confess I’m an addict for fall. While the heat in the RL stays in the 90s my SL turns into a pumpkin colored wonderland at the first hint of autumn. The SALEM event kicked off and that has to mean it’s fall doesn’t it? I’m positive it means that. I’m sporting new lips and eye BLACK MAGIC makeup from ALASKA METRO that you can pick up at SALEM.

I’m doing a bit of urban shopping today in a sharp suit from Baiastice and my favorite HAT HAIR from Hair Fair this year. Every year I declare a BEST HAT HAIR at Hair Fair and honestly – THIS IS IT FOR ME. SO CUTE. Perfect for the breezy city streets while I look for the next bargain! Continue reading →

Wasabi Pills At The Hair Fair

Hair Fair is one of Second Life’s oldest traditions – the oldest probably being something skeevy we won’t mention here. I can remember my earliest exposure to Hair Fair and I can even remember the hair I fell in love it.

Gogo blogged the hair, and I just knew I had to have it.  It was a wavy blonde, and it had a cute braid and it was adorable.  I ran straight over and bought it.

When I saw this release for Hair Fair from Wasabi Pills it reminded me SO MUCH of the original I loved (the original had the braid down the side and let’s face it, it was flexi SO NOT THIS PRETTY) I really really wanted to do a side by side. I thought it might be fun to take a look at the amazing progress our creators of hair have made over the past decade.

But then I realized I had deleted that hair.  141k in inventory and I’ve deleted the damn one I want. Nice. Continue reading →

Well made myself a proper breakfast and have my plans for today. I like to spend Sundays in some combination of busy fun and relaxation. It’s a perfect day for baking and relaxing – which I’ve already started while I eat my delicious breakfast.

What do you like to bake as fall moves in? I’m a traditionalist, at the first hint of cool air I’m ready for apple everything and the pumpkin spice.

On Sunset

End of my holiday weekend winds down and finds me back at home on Juicy. I’m not sad though. I’ve been unpacking – slowly but surely. It’s kind of cathartic to reinvent my SLife in a new place again, even if that place is in fact an old place.

I slipped into some new lingerie that you can find at The Arcade. It’s perfect for a cozy evening in, alone or perhaps with someone special.  I personally still pine for my love who abandoned me for the glories of Azeroth. Maybe he’ll return someday. With no real destination in mind I got behind the wheel at sunset and decided to travel off the beaten path. I just needed to get somewhere I hadn’t been, somewhere to be a silent version of me for a day perhaps, one where I could reflect and think alone.

I have a new car, so what better time to go exploring?

Garbaggio shoots and SCORES this round of The Arcade with an amazing new decor piece for you home. It’s every girl’s shoe dream come true, and it’s clearly meant to be a staple in my new home. Shoes? Yes please. I need them all.

I’m in love with a new hair do from DOE as well. She makes the most femme pretty hairs, this release from The Arcade is now different. For me, I’m always excited to see what the BACK of her hair will be. She always does lovely braids and looks that are a surprise when you see the back. Love this one.

As you can see I’m bedecked by foxes as well. I am thinking of employing them in my new home to keep the vermin at bay. Do you suppose it will work?

Two of my favorite things, macarons and the ability to set people on fire, are both available at the up coming round of The Arcade. I have to admit you would probably only get a wee bit singed by my friend here yet, I can dream.
