Can We Talk About Free AOs ? Part One

For reasons I cannot properly explain I was compelled to try out some various AOs from Marketplace the other day. I decided that given the fact that decent AOs can be expensive AF that maybe, maybe I’d find a gem or two on MP. You never know.

For today’s experiment I’m not using vids – which I should have but RL is making it impossible ATM so I think I will experiment with shooting short vids of the AOs next time around and if so I’ll include this one.

What Did I Forget ?

I’m the queen of bad intersections, hair stuck through arms, floating necklaces and various other faux pas. I’m a veteran enough blogger to snicker when someone else does it yet find the ego to go oh eff it I don’t care when I do.

This is pretty much true 100% of the time. I will decide that it’s a  more accurate representation of your SL experience as intersections and weird stuff DOES happy when you aren’t stuck in a pose for a shoot. So, that’s a Gidge truth.

However, I had this great night last night reconnecting with an old friend and then Amatorum was having a party so I slapped on something new QUICKLY and ran over there, with a nagging feeling the entire time that I was MISSING something. What am I missing? Continue reading →

I Had Plans You See

Having a social calendar is suddenly making my SL a busier place, and I’m loving it. Except for one thing. I’m TIRED. Cajsa and I were out this weekend and reminiscing on the so many parties we used to throw and attend, and how much time we used to spend together and she remarked “Yes, you never slept.” I guess that’s true. 8 Years Later

This blog has existed now for 8 years. That’s a long time in SL blogger world, probably even longer in SL Fashion Blogger world. I forget sometimes why we’re considered part of the old guard, until I look through the feeds and don’t know who the hell anyone is.

I’m glad we’re still here, and I’m glad you are too. I don’t know what we’ll be doing in the next year, but I suspect shoes, hair, earrings and clothes will be part of it. And skins, don’t forget skins.

Thanks for reading us all these years.
