I’m Walkin’….Except I’m Not

There are some bloggers who do an amazing job of reflecting a variety of skin tones when sharing new releases from creators. I’m not one of them. I think my instinctual nod would go to Sydd Sinister. There are probably others.

I’m always impressed with the amount of effort it takes to make a gorgeous contact sheet style post showing all the options with a skin or hair release. I decided to shake myself up and choose a totally different skin tone for myself, simply because in Second Life we can be whomever we want. Continue reading

Fighting The Elements…

I awoke depressed, certain that my future as a blogger was at an end due to the recurrence of a recent tropical depression that is a fashion icon and a MAN MAGNET. That’s right, the undefinable and incomparable Swirly Cyclone has RETURNED.

We old timers existed in her shadow, hoping to one day be as glamorous and fantastic as the amazing Swirly. When she left we all breathed a sigh of relief, we no longer had to feel second best. AT LAST we could just accept ourselves and not desperately try to be as lovely and witty as Swirly. Continue reading

Days End Days Begin

My days begin and end the same way, in my bedroom shucking off my clothes or putting on my clothes, looking for comfort or fashion or something in between.

Chocolat Atelier had some adorable lingerie appliers at Epiphany so I had to go get them this past weekend. I always like their machine because they include top or bottom together so hey, adorable lingerie – WIN. I got the pink and white so even better. I don’t care if it’s not the rare. Continue reading

Saturday Slackerday

It begins with the clanging of an emotionless metal heart. The banging and clanging wakes me from my otherwise peaceful slumber and reminds me, it’s Saturday. This is perfect because this means I don’t actually HAVE to do ANYTHING. Continue reading

No YOU Need More PS…Just Sayin’

A lovely friend of mine, and fellow blogger got some weird critique. Well, weird to me. She was told “You need better PS skills.” This was in response to her applying to blog for someone.

Hmmmmm.

My advice in response was basically this. If their products are so bad that they require you to photoshop them, no one should be wearing them anyway. Continue reading

A Headache Away

So many things are just a headache away from solving. Right now my head hurts. Decisions are hard, and I’m not a girl who makes them when I don’t have to.  Yet here I am making decisions, shedding my skin and becoming a new girl.

It’s rather liberating. Sort of a “dance in the cold ass snow” sort of liberating.

The snow, however, is cold as shit. Continue reading

Studio Time Means WERK

Having a bit of a work day today with these new chair props from Purple Poses at COLLABOR88 this month. They’re fun, a great blogging accessory so bloggers, put these on your MUST HAVE list. Continue reading

We Meet Again Sewing Machine…

Yesterday I played. I logged in and Sasy, Whimsy and Mavi were making the rounds of the big shopping events and so instead of settling in for some serious work I went FA LA LA LA LA shopping. I couldn’t help it. SHOPPING WITH THE GIRLS IS MORE FUN.  After we had emptied all the events of all the items worth having (which was all of them from what I could tell) I had to run off and they went on to further adventures.  Continue reading

Swish, Unff, Simone

Lelutka is releasing a new head on 12/22 and this one is full of unff and sexy. Simone is her name, and being gorgeous is her game.  I’ve paired her with beautiful new appliers from Glam Affair (that purple, I love you) and some Swish hair also from Lelutka. I had forgotten how much I used to love it when hair was wavy back in the day.  Continue reading

Damn Dog

Yes I’m cold but the dog ran outside and took tree lights with it – and darnit I had to round him up. He’s cute – I picked him up at the Kittycats Advent Calendar which of course is still up – you can hop over there and grab any of the items you missed as well as todays! Continue reading
