I was ecstatic to the point of ridiculous that Mudhoney released MUMS for Fifty Linden Friday yesterday. If you aren’t from the US – mums are the official herald of fall.  I’ve started my fall decorating, adding the rocker just released from What Next and now the mums. YAY for fall decorating!

My cat, my FIRST cat, Snake Plisskin is so glad to be out of the his Inventory Kennel. He follows me around everywhere and would not let me take a photo without him. He’s a very spoiled pretend cat.

I have such a hectic schedule today though, I have to grab a cup and RUN because both lives are completely booked full. Continue reading →

In Other News There Are Flowers In MY ATTIC

My Attic this month is full of beautiful floral themes and variations of the theme FLOWERS IN MY ATTIC.  Lacuna has released a gorgeous set of shorts and tops that say adieu to summer in the most beautiful way.

And let’s face it, we can have summer whenever we want in SL so we can wear them all winter if we like. I love the wallpaper inspired shorts, I want these in RL.

I’m also sporting one of my poses from PRETENSE for the event, called Flowers for You – this is a single pose. The pack comes with one friend pose, with a bouquet, and a single daisy and you can mix & match it all up for however you like.  Continue reading →

A Life of Luxuria

It’s a great day when you wake up and realize one of your favorite stores is BACK.

Luxuria, the amazing brand of lingerie and other wonders has returned! I think that until maybe some time this year, I was STILL wearing their releases in skin posts and the bedroom slippers until mesh shoes finally made them obsolete.

Fashionistas are always looking for lingerie, and these new releases should keep us full of girly goodness for a few weeks.

An Avatar After Work

I’m officially moved in. I picked up Sophie from Auntie Inventory. She’s been visiting there for a while, she really loves it – Auntie Inventory HAS EVERYTHING.  I decided that after a day full of being a fashion blogger and walking around looking pretty, there was nothing for it but to sit on the porch, gaze at the sea and have some wine.

That solves all life’s stresses, I’m pretty sure.

It seems like a big place to have all to myself, and making dinner just for me would be lonely, but Cajsa has moved in to be my neighbor! I’m SO excited that after all these years we’ll be within cup of sugar borrowing distance! Continue reading →

I have moved to the sea, a nice change of pace from the government housing I where I was staying. But it seems that I’m doing too good of a job decorating, because every time I log in, there are people in my house. They seem to like it too.

After a long lazy weekend it felt like I needed to get serious with some SRSS BSNSS fashion and luckily there were new releases to comply.

Ploom has released one of my all time favorite hair styles that they’ve ever made.  It’s got a slightly teased 6os style poof in back but melts into a dreamy whispy look as it’s pulled to  the side.  I love the HUD options from Ploom – and her blondes are impeccable.  This is going to be a great hair style for lots of different looks.  Continue reading →

There was an AREA 51 themed party this weekend at The Garden to celebrate this month’s theme, and I couldn’t decide if I wanted to be a poodle skirt diner girl or an alien. I dithered and went back and forth. The best part was, I was putting it all together from fun new and old items in my inventory – proof positive that you don’t have to go out and bankrupt yourself to participate in fun theme events. Swimming In Mitosis

I wandered over to LEA6 this morning, because I didn’t know what to shoot. When in doubt, LEA sims will always provide some inspiration and things to think about. This build is called Mitosis.

It tells you what it’s all about, there are three levels that represent various things in your existence. You fly up to the second two levels to experience those works.
