I am making up for lost time this autumn, in that I’m collecting everything I can get my hands on which is fall related and doing seasonal decorating as though there is no tomorrow. I’m not sure exactly who it is for but it’s making me happy so who cares.

I have added fall decorations indoors and out and I have to admit I’m pretty pleased with myself all in all.

This coat from Leri Miles designs caught my attention the moment I put it on, I’m ready for a reason to wear a dressy coat. I do like this one because it’s color change in all it’s parts and you can choose to tone down the brightness of the brooch. Continue reading →

I had one of those great mornings on the grid today. I completed a set and got it out for sale, talked to my friend Dove and found this BITCHING dress from THE ICING which desperately needed me to wear it.

Thursday Called For Boots

I am in love with boots this year. It’s possibly because I don’t own any in RL. I also don’t own any socks in RL that aren’t like white athletic socks. I’m enamored of the idea of my feet being warm.

Thus, when the cold winter winds blew into my RL last night, my mind said “Socks. Boots. I want these things.”

Luckily, when I was dressing out of my Baiastice closet this morning I found these amazing boots which just did the trick.

There are only a few creators I can think of that I’m able to dress head to toe in their creations, Sachi Vixen of Adam N Eve – Monica Outlander from Miamai and Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. Today’s a Baiastice day.

I left the gorgeous jewelry from MOOD on again today – because DUH it’s gorgeous.

Now I’m off, I’ll try not to freeze to death out in the RL.

The Festival Of The Pumpkin Has Begun!

It is possibly my favorite time of the year, the time when we all get excited about playing dress up in the world in which we already play dress up.  Schadenfreude has released the best treat bucket around (yell at strangers TOUCH MY BUCKET! they love it) and if you are the trick or treat sort you’ll need it.

Go inside the Elephant and you will find it inside on the floor, along with a dizzying array of fun new pieces recently released.

Today I’m also wearing my first fall sweater acquisition of 2011 from Somnia. These have been released in a huge rainbow of colors (thanks Sanura) but I was in a fall sort of mood. I should get some sweaters RL. I really don’t own any.

Oh and I’d like to point out, I got these AWESOME boots at G Field last year and was chastised that they were a waste because I’d only wear them once. They are awesome pumpkin print cowboy boots.

Boots this awesome are NEVER a waste.

The One Where I Got Shadows

Something odd happened to me several months ago. I went out and spent a lot of money on a pretty bad ass computer. You could literally see the little sales guys drool as we upgraded memory and video and basically, our motto was “what else ya got?”

I bought a nice computer. Tis powerful. Goes Zip Zip Zip fast. You get the idea.

I brought it home and installed SL. And my cartoon world blew up. Nothing worked, nothing worked right. Pictures were shit. Kirstens viewer went to hell then didn’t work at all, the official viewer didn’t work and basically, I was pretty upset. Continue reading →
