Belle Epoque and Katat0nik Group Gifts

Katat0nik‘s Group is 75L and the shoes are only for the Maitreya body.

After coming back to SL, I looked for all the stores I used to frequent mostly by asking friends on Plurk (yes, its still around) and just plain old searching inworld. I was happy to see that it was still here and snatched up the shoes. They were just BEGGING for an ethereal-type picture.

Belle Epoque Group Gift

Belle Epoque helped me with the outfit for the picture I was imagining! Just recently they announced a new group gift. Their group is currently only 50L to join. Sizes come in Petite, Perky, Maitreya, and Legacy. 10 colors are found in the HUD.

I’m Still Standing

Despite their sharp stiletto, standing is pretty easy peasy in these new heels from BREATHE which you can pick up for your holiday fun at THE ARCADE! I popped over to get some holiday gifts and was delighted that despite there still being a crowd, I could get around quite quickly and get my shopping done.

I love when you can get in and it’s not completely crazy town at events. You get all the fun and none of the crazy bonking into people!

I did Luxebox this month because Poppy has a dress in it and – what do you know it’s the GIDGE dress! It was a must have for me and I think you’ll like it too if you get the box. It’s so cute and has perfect colors for any time but I had to go with holiday colors.  Continue reading →

I Think There’s A Clown Behind Me

It all started because of the ink. Scrolling through the Eloquence blog at events the other day, I saw these really pretty tattoos for SLINK bod and thought I would like them. But then I opened up the blog today to find the event and found ANOTHER event (Creation JP) and well – I had to go to that.

The next thing that happened was that Sasy went to the FIRST event (Kawaii Project Something I forget the name but maybe that’s the name I don’t know – oh there I linked it yes that’s the name) and she starts tossing me gacha extras. My old school gacha fever took hold and I started putting on everything I just had purchased and then some.

Moving In

Well, I decided to go for it and move into the Brooklyn Carriage House from Trompe L’oeil. It’s smaller than the big brownstone I was living in and requires a lot less furniture, but I ended up buying some furniture anyway, because that’s what happens when you move. You need new things. Among the new things are this lovely vanity that’s also from Trompe L’oeil and a big blue velvet bed from there as well.

I added this glorious lounge/daybed from Mudhoney that can be found at this month’s Collabor88. The golden key embellishment at the bottom and the gorgeous tassels place it firmly within the Odyssey inspiration and that blue is a rich as the Aegean Sea.

I am in love with this gorgeous gown and capelet from KatatOnik. It comes is all the rich jewel tones that you could need to fill a treasure chest. You will find it at Collabor88.  For some reason, the pose and the cool blue tone of the lighting made me think of Melanie Safka’s extraordinarily beautiful song, The Citiest People. Most people probably have not heard of Melanie, or if they have, they only know her biggest song, Brand New Key. However, if you have a chance, spend some time on Spotify or YouTube and discover her many other fabulous songs, like Kansas, Someday I’ll Be a Farmer or Candles in the Rain.

I have pulled out my Fiat Lux projector that I am selling on Marketplace for 50L for shooting the pics today. This is a combination of two projectors – one white and one tinted. They are mod, so you can change the color of the tint. I changed it to red the other day and have often changed it to gold. You can pretty much tint it any way you please. You can also make your own, using the tutorials you can find under the Tutorials tab up above.
