Good Morning lovelies. I have a delicious cup of hot coffee and it’s a great day. I love waking up on Bellisseria, I have to admit I’m going to be hard pressed to ever leave this spot. It’s a perfect, peaceful little world here and I’m eternally grateful for it. I have been strongly considering changing my house to a different model, but then that sounds like SO MUCH WORK I don’t know that I can be bothered. Do you ever get like that? I after all, it’s Sunday and I don’t want to DO anything I just want to luxuriate in the beach worlds of the grid.

And where better to do that than over at Rainbow Reef? I haven’t logged in for a couple of weeks and I’ve missed the free drinks and gorgeous views, not to mention the surfing and general great vibe of the place.

Take my keys, I can’t drive home.

I threw on a crown and headed over. I hope my favorite bartender is working. I’m planning to make it a long, lazy afternoon of cold beverages and sun. Could there be a better Sunday? Maybe, but I’m too tired today to think of anything that would top it.

Bartender, let’s get this started.

I popped over to this London sim that is on the Destination Guide but found it gutted with divas striking poses all over the faux English square. Can’t so much as get a shot of a double decker bus without someone else there shooting – and truly – good for them.

I think it’s fun that the destination guide draws folks to places so we can experience what is lovely – it’s rather lovely to celebrate someone’s work this way!

Since I am here, there is no reason not to celebrate their success with a sweet – don’t you agree? I can’t decide between cupcake and macaron, however.

You might notice that I’m wearing the same hair again. Ever just FALL IN LOVE with a hair? Well that’s where I am. I decree all of Kavar’s hair has to be this amazing going forward – the bar has been set. This is so perfect. I don’t want to stop wearing it.

New head, new skin new hair. I have no complaints really.

I suppose I can deal with a Monday coming in. Maybe?

Life on Bellisseria is without trouble or care. Still, sometimes I just feel annoyed and can’t be bothered with – whatever it is.

Anything?

I spent most of my week preferring to live life as this cat, doing nothing, caring about nothing and having no interest in the world outside. Why bother?

Yet…this seems so lazy it bothers me.

I decided I just needed to relax and stop worrying about it. I strolled outside to relax at my beachside spot and when I open up my draw distance what do I see? MAINLAND? WHAT IS THIS MONSTROSITY?

Literally I’m sitting on Bellisseria looking at a damned FULL BRIGHT SKYBOX and what seems to be an airport? OMG WHAT?

Seriously ?

Lame. No wonder I’m full of ennui.

Chalet Preview – Likes and Dislikes

People seem to be VERY torn about the new Linden home theme CHALETS so I decided to go give them a look-see after Gogo posted the demo area SLURL on Plurk.

I admit I’m a dedicated Bellisserite. Bellissarian ? Regardless, I love my Linden home. I love the gorgeously landscaped neighborhoods and the beautiful homes. I’m still in a Victorian, loathe to give up my amazing beach spot. Might not give it up – we’ll just see won’t we.

So the theme seems to be a sort of a Dutch happening, with windmills and tulips. This demo area is a little sparse – maybe I’m spoiled with the AMAZING lush areas they built for Victorians and Traditional? Or perhaps I’m being picky as this is just a demo. I’ll assume that’s the case.

They had a bit of a brewfest park set up. I’m not sure if this would be part of the outdoor design. I would say that if it is – the beers should give me a beer. Don’t tease me with beer. That’s just unkind. Also these beers are nuts – way more than this pixel girl can drink.

My quibbles with this style are small. I’m unsure of the color schemes. They just don’t do it for me. Maybe they do it for you? That’s cool if so. One thing I do like in the various models I walked are the big open rooms with nice space for camming around. I HATE SMALL ROOMS where I am always struggling to see. Nice job moles.

This is my favorite model. Windows, windows, windows. The one quibble I’ve had with all my Linden homes is either that the windows suck OR they aren’t facing what is beautiful where I live. Such as I live on the beach, the ocean is behind me. I want to see the beach, but the windows at the back of my house SUCK.

You landscape beautifully, let us see outside!

This one meets my needs of great open rooms and wonderful windows. Very cute. The color is eh, but maybe the choices would spruce it up?

It was an interesting jaunt around the chalets. They aren’t for me, but I think it’s cool that they are really creating lots of different styles to appeal to everyone. But now that I’m back on Bellisseria I’ve decided to tool around and decide if I want to pull out a different house model for a while. I’ve been in this 1 story for a while. Who knows?

Alaska Metro has a new hunt out and there are five items at her main shop and five over at YE OLD Free Dove. I was so excited for a chance to do a fun hunt for pretty things, it’s been a while since I have run the gauntlet on one.

They are SO easy to find, just a bit of looking will suss them all out.

Time For The Superb Owl

We’re ready for football kick off today. After all it’s time for the Superbowl this evening and that calls for food and booze in excess. It’s always this time of year that you get the people who like to tell you about how they’re above watching the Superbowl and like to put it down with little snarks about “the sports ball game” or whatever.

We get it. You don’t like football.

The thing is, shitting on things people enjoy doesn’t make you cool. You aren’t edgy or interesting because you don’t like a thing that a lot of other people like. I don’t like a lot of things that other people think are great. You know what – great for them! Glad they enjoy it. I don’t go online to make a point about how I don’t like the thing.

It’s tiresome. We get it. You’re so above it all.

I do think the Superb Owl is a bit funny though. So this isn’t a total rant.

I’m sure whomever is selling these tees on marketplace paid the NFL right? I mean, logo infringement and all.

If you’re buying these – get the black one. The white one is made like crap. They’re the same price.

I was asleep. I know it’s early for a Friday but it was a bitch of a Friday, I was done. I just wanted to sleep and kick off the weekend tomorrow. I just needed a break. I wanted sleep and oblivion.

It was then I heard it. I heard that bleet, this sound – I could not figure it out. I laid there and tried to ignore it. But eventually I couldn’t and had to get up to figure out what was happening.

SHE BROUGHT HOME A GOAT.

OH MY GOD.

I don’t even know what to say.

I do NOT approve.

Living with Alts is rough ya’ll.

Aliana doesn’t think she did anything wrong. She lives here too!

The goat situation is going to have to be figured out when I’m not so tired.

Seaside Dining To Start The Week

I decided to start my week dining at Rainbow Reef as they were good enough to have food now. I think this was very considerate of them and I do love shrimp so it’s a win all around.

I do recommend it. The table was seated with a couple of other folk but they seemed lost in their private conversation or perhaps just drifting off in their RL, having parked their pixel selves in paradise before they left.

A bit of cheesecake and some perfect black coffee. Really, it’s a perfect meal. I should dine here more often.

I realized when I got up that I didn’t have any soda at the house, and if I wanted it cold I needed to pop it in the fridge now so that at the end of the day an icy cold beverage would await. I ran out to a nearby bodega – which touts itself as adult RP. I managed to escape having to roleplay just to get my sodas though, lucky me.

But serious what is behind me. Are those giant legs?

It’s too early for this nonsense I tell you what.

I’m scared to go find out. God bless the ability to TP away…
