I felt like I wasn’t doing my Halloween BEST if I didn’t kick of a BIT of summoning spirits and the dead for this Hallow’s Eve. After all – is it even a party if the dead aren’t there?
I certainly don’t think so. Continue reading

Garbaggio shoots and SCORES this round of The Arcade with an amazing new decor piece for you home. It’s every girl’s shoe dream come true, and it’s clearly meant to be a staple in my new home. Shoes? Yes please. I need them all.
I’m in love with a new hair do from DOE as well. She makes the most femme pretty hairs, this release from The Arcade is now different. For me, I’m always excited to see what the BACK of her hair will be. She always does lovely braids and looks that are a surprise when you see the back. Love this one.
As you can see I’m bedecked by foxes as well. I am thinking of employing them in my new home to keep the vermin at bay. Do you suppose it will work?
Happy Saturday girls. THE ARCADE is open and ready for you to add to the fun of your Second Life.

I’m so behind in my blogging… I have to admit I’ve been binge watching Elementary and it’s kept me away from SL these past days. Anyway I’m back with a mint themed post… Lots of pretty things from past rounds of C88 and Fifty Linden Fridays, that should now be back in stores at their regular prices, but still pretty.

I don’t know why, but while I was preparing the pictures for this post, I had Amy Winehouse’s song in my head. “You’re trying to make me go to rehab, but I say no, no, no…” Probably the messy hairdo by Doe, or the very 70’s liner from Zibska…

I come in to the settlements to get news or when it’s barter time, just to make an appearance. It’s important not to be forgotten out here. Not that anyone would be likely to be helpful if there was help that was needed. It’s more about position, about who you are in the grand scheme of things.
I don’t barter.
I take what I want and everyone can just like it or not. Mostly, I don’t take anything. No need to create friction, unless I just feel like having a fight. Mostly I don’t.
I come in to the main settlement every few weeks and wander around the perimeter. You never know what you’re going to find in the settlements, newcomers, oldbies with an axe to grind that’s as old as glitchpants, or calm. I am not here for trouble, just to learn what’s new, and to remind them I’m here.
I’m always here. Continue reading
What can I say? The weather improved and I hit the beach for one last hurrah today! I hit the beach for some paragliding and OH MY what an amazing day for it! Continue reading
You know what’s funny? I started putting together that outfit a few days ago, and the weather was bright and sunny and frankly a bit too hot for me out here. I guess I was hoping for a little rain to cool the air. Well it worked, I was awaken in the middle of the night by the sound of very heavy rain.

I love Easter and am delighted to be able to make you groan with silly pose sets and super trite blog titles.
This is how I roll. Are you new here? WELCOME TO MY SLIFE I’m intensely silly.
But to be serious – it’s EASTER folks and that means candy and pink/pastel explosion as far as the eye can see. I’m super, super into this, as you can imagine.
I’ve found all the eggs the bunny left for me and now I’m ready for some treats! It’s going to be a great month I think. Well, I hope. If I can eat all this candy, that is. Continue reading
When I saw the Tentacio kimono outfit for The Arcade was named Midory, I had to try it. When I was in college, one of my friends was a student from Japan named Midori. Midori and Midory are the same, when languages written in other alphabets are written in our alphabet, the transliteration may vary. She came home with me for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I remember we put on quite the feast with steamed cucumbers stuffed with pork, gyoza, tempura, and other tasty foods. She had a few kimonos and insisted on dressing me up in one of hers. It was very fancy and after she wrapped that obi around my waist again and again and again, I thought I would never need a jacket. So here’s to Midori, who, to be honest, I cannot imagine ever wearing anything so short as this dress that bears her name.
