The bed in this cabin was really something of a dream. Huge pillows and a big fluffy duvet, I completely loved it. Waking up with this sunrise and the lake with mountains, it was completely the refresh I needed.
What can I say, I’m a needy girl.
The cabin came with an espresso machine, and I ordered in some breakfast. I really could live here, except who am I kidding? Give up my beach? Never.
I kind of got dressed but then I lost my motivation to go anywhere. I’m gonna lay here and read and just enjoy the beautiful vista.
I’m glad to be back on the grid.

I decided to take off for a destination I haven’t checked out before to do some snowboarding and some much needed reflection on what Pixel Gidge is going to get up to this year.
I’m a huge fan of activities on the grid and mastering snowboarding is going to be my thing for at least a week. Maybe two. I really enjoy it but I might need a better snowboard, mine are all random freebie boards from events and they aren’t as well scripted as one might want. If I decide to continue, I’ll definitely start looking around.
I hit the lodge after I did a few runs, deciding that yes in fact I do need a better board. I was glad I made it in time to grab some dinner before I trudged over to the little cabin I had rented.
I definitely recommend this resort. The food was top notch, the service was stellar and you can rent a little getaway cabin for 200L a night just to have a fun little weekend adventure. I’ll put the slurl in the bottom. There is a lot to see and do here, and it would make a fun weekend date, or just some time for yourself to think – like me!
This weird dude stood back there and watched me eat. What the heck weirdo. Don’t be a creeper. These are my scrimps. I’m terrible with flatware. Sorry, I’m uncultured.
You can find lovely vignettes, and cute little cabins for rent as well as skiing and other activities here at Unbreakable Love I rented cabin 31 but I think they are all cute and worth checking out. I rented it for two days. The Northern Lights Winter Resort is absolutely worth a stop.

All RL signs pointed to this being Monday. But it’s a Wednesday. That’s just perplexing ya’ll. I don’t even know how to process it. I went to an hilariously old amusement park needing to shake the Monday blues and my god, not only is this place a hoot because it’s so old, it’s not even Monday.
In both worlds I needed some sustenance of a cheesy, bread sort of thing. These pizzas from JunkFood are everything. Am I eating constantly? Probably. But I can’t eat nonstop junk with my new heart condition so the delights on the grid now make me an even happier avatar.

Well, it’s finally happened. I decided to get my ALT a body and well now she’s got a decent head and a decent body, I should probably let her move in. I mean, I’m accustomed to my solitary space anymore, but there is something nice about having someone who appreciates my new wine fridge.
Excuse me, OUR new wine fridge.
We decided to cook out. I picked up this ridiculously cute new table at SOY. But the toll of the week being so busy already has the both of us worn out.
After all, she’s had to go shopping to get some less ridiculous clothes. That’s a lot of work. God bless her, I never buy her anything. But now at least she looks “less” nuts. So I’m not completely ashamed to be seen with her.
I picked up a new lounger at Chez Moi (thank you for the suggestion Sparklies!) and they are perfect for a Victorian themed house. They were a perfect spot to listen to the waves and just relax this evening.
I always remember what I learned from Auntie Mame – enough is as good as a feast.
This lovely little spot in the world is enough. I am so happy to be here.
I had some time this morning and I did a quick run through the Gacha Garden to pick up any items I might not have yet. I have to say, some people really bring it when they drop a gift to people.
