Diminished Seventh
There is something calming about the Blues. I don’t know why, but I’ve always found the mourning of lost loves and songs about sadness to have a mellowing effect.
I grew up in a town with one of the best blues bars you’ll find anywhere, the Slippery Noodle Inn. The Noodle was perfect for both the end and beginning of your night, or for an evening when you just want to listen to good music and hang out with your friends. Continue reading
zombie glitter pants
This is another look, well, HALF a look I put together from my Objects Folder – Blogger challenge. I say half because some of these items are new to me. The skin, pants, eyes and top were all hiding in my objects folder. The skin was apparently a Halloween gift from Glam Affair and it reminds me of a zombie. It has cool veins poking through.

Fair day for foul weather
What do you do when you feel down to help you feel good again? I curl up around Lord of the Rings (book version), send my husband out to get me snacks and coffee, whine incessantly to whomever will listen, and think about how much my life sucks… I let myself do that for a few hours, and then I have the strength to get on with it again.
Another thing I do is dress up my avatar all pretty and take photos. I did an all-black dressup a few days ago, and decided that this one would be all white. I’m wearing some terribly old things in the mix, but they’re still beautiful. (Come baaack, Scribble!)

Objects Folder – Blogger Challenge
Last night I decided I had some time on my hands, the boy child was sleeping, the S.O went to a movie, I had finished watching “Girls” so I thought “what the hell”, I’m going to organize my OBJECTS folder. Now, on my old avatar this never happened, but on my newer avie I like to keep things clean. Two days ago I freaked out because my inventory had inched passed 20k and this is unacceptable.
While in the throws of cleaning out my OBJECTS folder I noticed I had a lot of skins, make-ups, clothing etc that I had never opened. Perhaps, I bought things and forgot they were there or some were groups gifts or blogger copies I forgot to open. Either way, I opened them and thought “hmm, this would make an interesting blogger challenge”. I tried on everything that I had never opened and put together from those things a look that worked well together.
I offer you this same challenge. Old or new, it does not matter, find things unopened in your OBJECTS folder and make it work.

5:30 AM. My cat is pissed that I got out of bed, but my mind was too full. Time for a stroll in the early morning light!
