Rebel Hope sent me her Mesh dress tonight.  Obviously Berry already blogged this, but not the flat-chested version darnit.  The dress comes in four versions — Curvy/Curvy in heels, and normal/normal in heels.  I fit the normal one, although initially my boobs were a little big for it.  I changed my shape a tad, reducing my bust size until they no longer poked through the dress, and it suited me to a T.  I really like how the fabric moves… as Berry said, it bends when you bend, which is shockingly realistic for something made out of zeros and ones.  I’m wearing it with this new skin from Plastik, the Aleria ethereal lilac skin, which comes with these awesome glowing creepy-ass eyes.  How would you style this gorgeous dress?  Photo yourself and leave the URL in comments, I wanna see!

Wind is sweeping my coast, and Summer is ending with a rather large bang. Today’s outfit is in honor of the Season of Mists, which I sincerely hope will begin as soon as nature stops throwing a fit. I love fashionably Dead’s skins, and was beyond overjoyed to see two of them for sale for FLF yesterday. The skin goes so well with this shockingly orange hair from fashionably Dead — err, so I accidentally bought the color pack beneath the one that I wanted, but I really like it anyway. The cheek makeup is from Hate Me and Eat Me, a makeup-and-pose shop that is well worth following for its creativity. The tattoo is a new one from HUZ, the Secret Lotus. I got these new house badges from Schadenfreude and ~silentsparrow~ and was faced with the eternal conundrum: Which house am I? Really and honestly? I’ve always longed to be Slytherin because evil bitches are the most fun, but knowing my personality, I’m much more of a Hufflepuff. In this post I split the difference and wore Ravenclaw… The tie comes with a collar that suits Schadenfreude’s oxford shirts nicely, and you don’t have to choose your house before you buy it. Happy August!  I feel like this summer happened with a vengeance, don’t you?  Out the other side of it, the weather is changing again, and mist is pushing away the heat. I’ve been wearing darker skins lately (perhaps it’s a summer thing?), so I was overjoyed to see that Ugly Duck came out with Fade’s darkest skin yet, the Babette skin in Midsummers Night shade.  In general, Fade’s skins have a beautiful deep matte quality. Nothing glaring, pixelated or shiny here, it’s all one smooth wash of shade and highlight.  The musculature is natural, with a tiny hint of normal stomach and a pouty, round arse.  The skins come with two tit sizes, B and C cups. I’m wearing the C cup here.  I also like the natural way the chest bones sit above the breasts, and the hint of rib below.  The lips are my favorite part of the skin, though, full without being completely collagen-unnatural.  Go see if it suits your figure over at Ugly Duck!

FLF is insidious, and I hope that’s on purpose. This morning I got to So Many Styles, bought the cute FLF item, and then got immediately sucked into this boyfriend jacket. Keep it up, designers! Definitely use FLF as a way to promote your other stuff, it totally works on me! I think I was drawn most to the 80s Dallas feel of this jacket. Shoulderpads, wow. My favorite sweater from 7th grade was pink with silver applique and shoulderpads the size of throw pillows. I’m so glad they’re back; makes it so much easier to nap during Social Studies. I don’t know what the inspiration was for the rest of my outfit. Showing off my nice Amacci-made legs, I reckon. Also, I’m wearing a cute new necklace from Schadenfreude. At my day job, the caged bird reference is especially relevant… Have lovely weekends, y’all!

Hello, it’s Achariya, emerging from the dust to show off new horns from RUE and a new corset from Nomine.  Lately I’ve been putting together my very first SL photography gallery show (the opening is today at 11AM SLT, eek), and I haven’t really had time to create an outfit all at once.  I like that this outfit grew kind of organically, as if my avatar put on each item after it dropped from something she slew. /Warcraft.  This new Nomine corset looks as if an enslaved elf made it before the evil orc boss swallowed the elf and corset whole. O hey, it’s Acha.  How’ve you all been?  I popped out of hiding for a moment to mention that The Closet has some new clothes. I’ve known Bambi63 Rehula for years, ever since Creamy Cooljoke dragged me out shopping to her original build way back in 07.  Her clothing was as whimsical and interesting then as it is now, and the shop has been through many, many iterations.  For a while it was on Trey Dope right next to one of my favorite quirky pose shops, Lotta.  And who could forget trying really hard to find TheCloset In Shelter, the slightly more rock-n-roll line that was hidden behind a dusty old door in her build?  After a bit of radio silence, Bambi63 produced some new things.  I love this midi-skirt, and I love the draped hippie top too.  She’s got “Mori Gyaru” down to a science!  Go see her latest items, and some super-awesome swimwear, here.
