I do love polka dots so could not resist the new dress from A-Bomb, especially with such a flirty skirt as this one. The rhinestone belt buckle kicks it up a notch, making it a delightful fun dance dress. It’s definitely one to “shake, baby, shake.”
I had a lucky moment when it occurred to me that possibly the poufs on the pumps from The Closet could be tinted and sure enough they can. There are two pouf prims on each shoes so I tinted the center just a bit brighter. I wanted to play up the retro feel of the polka dot print by adding those vintage gloves from Bliensen & MaiTai that are embellished with a series of silver studs – repeating the dot motif in a new way. The buckle on the gloves repeats the shape of the belt buckle – though in plain silver.
KCD’s Bamboomerang Earrings are a playful nod to the polka dots, but the Glow Studio necklace repeats the circles in a new way again – to avoid the danger of crossing the line into cutesy. The hair is from Boon and is as playful as the outfit.
As lively as this all is, I really wanted some vibrant, colorful shakin’ it makeup and think this Jellyfish makeup from the Curio Beach line fit the bill.
