So after shooting that lovely gown from ROC yesterday, I figured I probably should go look at the store. It’s in a store called The Secret Garden, shared with another designer of lovely women’s gowns. However, my eyes definitely strayed to the ROC side and just about popped out of my head when I saw this dress – called Jazmina. Although closer inspection reveals it has nothing to do with my favorite painting in the whole world ever, it still made me think of Klee’s Ad Parnassum and I had to have it. Had to! The colors, as you can see are completely similar – and the stones are the same size, but other than that, the similarity is coincidental as I asked the designer Renena Olivier and she had not heard of the painting before. That is a portion of Ad Parnsassum in the back.
I struggled to find the right shoes that would be just perfect before I remembered the new shoes from Abraxxa of EarthStones. I popped over in my bare feet and while waiting for the store to rez, gave her an IM saying I found the perfect dress for her new shoes. She dropped in to check and while I purchased the shoes, she asked “What are those things on your arms?” Well, they were a big clunky bangles and all, but I couldn’t think of anything in her collection that suited either. She said “Follow me,” and sure enough she had a fairly recent release that I had completely missed was exactly what I needed. I thought I knew everything in her store, but that persuaded me to join the Subscrib-O-Matic so I won’t miss a release again. She kindly dropped a set on me and seriously, after seeing that necklace, earrings and bracelet, nothing else could possibly be better.
