It’s May and the sun peeps out every 15 minutes or so behind the normal grey Oregon sky – a harbinger of the real summer that will come next month. Looking out my window I see a riot of flowers, tulips, lavender, rhodies and azaleas and it’s so lovely. With that sort of sunny mood, I wanted a sunny dress and this one from Anuenue seems perfect for the occasion.
I added the Aohaur Gladiator Boots which behaved extraordinarily well last night when I popped over to Tres Jolie for a chat with Iota and her friend Nikki. I sat on the couch and fidgeted away without the boots ever “breaking” their look. So color me pleased and yellow. The Anuenue Key Dress I got awhile back as a freebie. While it is no longer free, at L180 it is still a erasonable price and it does come in 4 other colors: grey, blue, pink and green.
With this I am wearing the Placido set in black from Twinkleberry – though honestly it’s more gray than black. It’s a favorite set for me because it has no bling and I like the length of the necklace. It always sits so well. The hair is from Tiny Bird and is truly as adorable as it comes. I think I might wear it for days on end. Probably not, I guess, or you all would fire me. But, I am sure you will see it soon. The flowers are texture-change with a touch and happily they come in a sunny yellow.
The skin is from Curio – one of the April set called Jonquil after the lovely yellow flowers. It has a hectic blush on the cheeks reflective of the ruddy coloring you get on a brisk Spring morning. As usual, I am wearing the Lelutka Diva eyelashes which I think is the only way to get a 100% perfect fit – and no alpha issues either. Fitting takes a lot of patience, but after it’s done. Golden!
