The new issue of Vanity Fair suggests that the explosion of leopard, zebra crocodile and python in fashion is the byproduct of Afrophilia. They offer many examples of clothes and accessories in the trend – but I don’t know if that proves their point.
I was thinking it was nostalgia for the Abba and disco. 8) To illustrate my suggestion, I went for it big with leopard and palazzo pants and hair that might be a bit over the top – but it sings “I Will Survive” at the top of its lungs. Not only will I survive, but I will wrestle wild animals to do so.
Now about the clothes. The uber-sexy Sex Kitten body suit including gloves, collar and cuffs is from Sn@tch. The extravangantly wide-legged brocade pants are from Baiastice (second floor) and the leopard shoes are from Digit Darkes. That gorgeous leopard belt is from Dark Mouse.
Here you can see the lovely rings and things necklace. I think even over-the-top leopardness has it’s limits, don’t you? The earrings are from Dark Mouse and are just perfect. The hair is from House of Heart. I tinted the hair my shade of red which took me forever, but I won’t have to tint it again. I also tinted the headband – with the RGB values 220, 165, 85 which gives you a nice gold tint. The skin is from PXL Creations – Grace with – of course – the Cat eye makeup.
