Sorting my inventory, I came across the lovely yellow floral print dress from &Bean. It’s called Skinny Love and if skinny means short, it’s well named. I was in the mood for a longer option and remembered the lovely tulip skirt from mocca and switched it out and headed off to Lollygaggers Shopping Experience to shoot a few pics – not that the run down and decrepit look of the shopping lane matched the outfit, but for the opposite reason – that it is so grim in contrast to the light cheerfulness of the outfit.
Enkythings Bonita strappy sandals in yellow suit the dress, if not the shopping lane. Considering what sludge might be running down that culvert, the only appropriate shoes would be waders and they don’t come in spring yellow. I do have a quibble about the skirt, to be frank. The prim skirt is no mod – which meant that I could not get rid of the bit of gray shading used to match system and prim clothing. The pants though were mod and so I was able to get a bit closer. Still – making the prim mod is a better option as I would have been able to make it a bit smaller as well. As it is, I had to add 10 to my hips to get it to fit well.
A simple necklace and earrings from Purple Rose and a fun and energetic hairstyle from Tukinowaguma keep the look fresh and fun. The ever-useful sash from Personal helps meld the top and skirt together and covers the gap between them.
The stunning skin Elizabeth from Infinity (soon to be released by Annyka Bekkers) with its freckles and freshfaced openness completes the look. Take a look at that clavicle, by the way, it’s just a marvel.
