Sometimes outfits are so complete and create such a statement that we don’t think about trying to mix them up with other clothes. They have such a strong look as they are. This sometimes makes frugal shoppers think twice about buying since they believe they will only get one look, but I would submit that if the clothing makes a strong statement as a whole, its parts will be strong as well and can be mashed up with other outfits. For example, here we have Mina from Blue Blood where I have switched out the skirt for a more casual look.
I had no desire to pull it away from its Goth inspirations, but I wanted a shorter skirt so I used the Zagoskin Ella velvet skirt – an old staple from my closet. That fat pack of velvet skirts from Zagoskin is one of my best fashion investments. Tintable, they can be coordinated with most tops. This time no tinting was needed as the purple skirt matched the rich purple in the top. The Canimal Gothdamn stilettos were a great match.
I added Essentials Gothica jewelry with the sugilite stone and the hair from Katatonik. This Ringmaster hair is extraoridinarily flexible with color change scripts for the lace, star ribbon and bow. .
