For my last Dress Me Up Challenge, Harper said “Nuff of this pink stuff. I want some hard core goth–skin and all. Make all the vamp boys sweat. Make all the emo girls suffer. Do it up, Casja ;)” Well, I don’t think vampires sweat, but I can check on that. I think I may have missed it on this challenge, I don’t see much sweating and suffering in my reader’s future as a result of this outfit.
The dress is Snooks Gothic Jaqueline and actually has the word Gothic in its name which should count for something. I liked it because of the lovely lace bodice. It comes with three skirt lengths, this opera length and a mini (very mini) and a full length skirt.
The flowing sleeves are also lovely, though it took quite a bit of editing to make them large enough to not look embedded in my arm. I wish the skirt lace had been made the same way as the bodice lace – it’s a much prettier pattern and would be more interesting.
Here you can see the bodice better with the sleeves removed. You can also see the arm treatment.
This is an everything but the avatar outfit, the box includes dress, jewelry, black boots (not worn) and hair. I wore Tesla’s Ziggy boots instead of the ones that came with the outfit. Frankly, I deleted them, they were competently made, but I am not a fan of huge boots. They were just a bit clunky for me.
The skin is Tuli’s lovely Gothic skin – with the requisite Gothic pallor. What makes it stand out, though, is that it is still a very warm-blooded skin.
Challenger: Harper

I know at least one Vampire feels the temperature rising…
Just to make it clear, it wasn’t this Harper. I don’t normally think goth. (But which one was it?)
I should also add that this isn’t bad (grin).
