What I usually glean from my expeditions to Bare Rose are fun jackets full of details and fripperies and furbeloes. This time, though, I want to show you that Bare Rose can keep up the Jones in the soft, romantic and classic line of clothing, too. In the Diamond Dust fatpack, you will, as usual, get eleventy-million shades of this lovely, classic cocktail dress and gloves.
All the winning details that make Bare Rose clothes stand out are here. There’s the lovely sash flowing over your shoulder with the fragile tulle bows on the chest. The realitic textures of the knife pleat skirt and the highlights and shadows that you generally find only in more expensive stores.
The level of detail is, even on this rather simple dress, painstaking and complete. For a place that produces so much content, there’s never the sense that clothes are rushed and details neglected.
To see what I mean, take a look at the bows and how carefully they were placed so that they do not carelessly intersect the torso. While you’re looking, take a gander at that crazy-hot necklace and earrings from MC Creations. They were dropped on me for review and I have been planning to find some really low-low-swooping neckline to really show them off, but so far everything I have worn has stayed in the safe zone. Nonetheless, even though they really deserve to be worn with a dress with the bodice down to there, I think they work well with this dress. Good thing, too, because a necklace you can only wear when your top goes down to your navel is not practical. Well, not that fashion is practical anyway. Anyway, I love the opalescent look of this necklace and still plan to show it off better soon.
Here’s a closer look at the earrings and the lovely Chai skin with freckles AND cleavage.
