Once upon a midnight dreary, while I wandered weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and impossible in real life store.
Suddenly there came a flapping, flocks of birds madly flapping
Magpies, and parakeets and ravens flapping, landing at a Tableau store
Paper Couture’s fall collection, Only this, and nothing more.
Well, that’s a lot of effort for such a poor result and the original is so much more congenial. However, I confess the temptation was irresistable considering the stole I am wearing is from The Raven by Paper Couture.
The Raven outfit comes with black pants and is a hot sexy little combination but I wanted to flex my wings and mash it up a bit. I chose a blood red wool skirt with enough pouf to almost balance the pouf in the stole.
The wings are lush and layered with abandon – giving the jacket a depth and poufiness that is exegerrated and yet in great harmony with the body. I can picture this worn over a long formal sheath or a ball gown. It’s perfect for any occasion that is an OCASSION.
Earrings from DeLa, a necklace from Paper C outure and a bracelet from Zaara set it off beautifully.
