There’s nothing that brightens a rainy day like a bright yellow slicker – and the one from Aoharu is a definite day brightener. It’s slick, shiny and I guarantee your clothes will stay dry if you wear it.

Now I started my outfit with the frabjous Dirkshire pants from Digit Darkes in olive. I like the color olive though I recognize that it doesn’t work with all skin tones. Thank goodness we can change skins so easily in SL.   With the pants, I added a shirt from VG Republic. I seem to recall that the Borg was taking it over or some such thing. They had signs saying their were being taken over…I am only assuming it was by the Borg. But since any teal or turquoise tank top would work, you can find similar tops at a dozen stores. The sweater is from Frangipani Designs (I really went crazy at her sale last month)

But really, doesn’t this lovely slicker bring it all together just magically? I love the jacket and I confess I love it most because it’s open and doesn’t obscure the clothes underneath.  I moved the collar up a bit, it naturally placed so that the buttons on the hoodie practically looked like prim nipples and well, that wasn’t good. I just gave it a little nudge up – no serious editing.

The fun and eccentric Locked Up necklace and earrings are from Dark Mouse and I loved the way they look with this outfit. It comes in silver, gold and copper and each are appropriately tarnished.  The hair is from Diversity Hair’s Lucky Chair. They’ve put 5 different hairstyles in the chairs around….so have a chair party and invite your friends. I’ve tintied this just a bit because I like my reds a bit darker than most people make them.

The skin is from PXL Creations and is in the light tan tone – a bit darker than I usually wear, but a better tone for olive and bright yellow clothes.  This is one of the new Linda makeups – there are 147 so you can go dangerously crazy…thankfully they are sold in some fat packs – where you can get one eyemakeup in every lip color or every eye makeup in one lip color depending on what you usually keep fairly constant.
