It is Better to Look Mahvelous than to Feel Mahvelous

Know what SUCKS about writing for a popular fashionblog?
Sometimes people recognize you.
I was sifting through my inventory the other night, trying on some stuff I got a Rosemar when it occurred to me I hadn’t finished the Bonita’s jewelry hunt.  So in the midst of trying on a sheath dress thingy (and trying to decide if I LIKED it) I desicided to take off the skirt, throw on jeans and run over to Bonitas. I was on a short time table – I had to boogie and get offline.
A simple plan, eh?
I wasn’t there two minutes when a couple of the fashionistas came over and said hi and how much they liked the blog which made me giggle and feel all warm inside. YAY – it’s fun to be liked. Then we all went on our merry way……hunting our starbusts with a fury when I walked into their earshot again and hear “But maybe she doesn’t get to keep the shoes she reviews.”
Oh crap.
I wasn’t wearing SHOES.  Worse – I was wearing shoe SHAPE and no shoes.

I will be wearing sunglasses from now on when I go out.

Too bad I’ve got that big old name tag over my head, eh?

Pffft! I do that all the time. Luckily, my blog is lesser well known, and no one recognizes me – so I can walk around like that without worries 😛

    😀

You know what’s worse than wearing a shoe shape and no shoes?

    Demo skin and demo hair!

I spend a lot of time in my sky box, trying on demos, and when I go where other people can see me I often forget to take them off!

Only a few people know me though. *breathes a sigh of relief*

First of all, obligatory and gratuitous [snicker].

Next, equally obligatory and self-directed [louder snicker]. I’ve done the same thing myself. We all get so busy just making choices that we simply forget to open a shoebox. Never fear, chile; maybe even Audrey or Jackie had an occasional fashion faux pas.
