I’m so behind in my blogging… I have to admit I’ve been binge watching Elementary and it’s kept me away from SL these past days. I don’t get the smoking in SL. I’m a smoker in RL (well not at the moment for baby bump reasons) but I never got the appeal for cigarettes in SL. My avatar is a better version of me, smoother skin, finer features, perkier boobs… I can play with piercings and tattoos at times because, unlike in real life, they can be removed quickly and painlessly, and obviously she’s a non-smoker. But when I unpacked this cigarette with mouthpiece from Dreamcatcher I knew I just had to show you. It comes with poses but I used another pose pack, also from Vintage Fair, that’s called Moonlight and Martinis, and includes a cigarette too, as well as a glass of… Martini! As usual, you’ll find all the credits after the pictures!

Last Day of Vacation Blues

I ordered room service last night and fell asleep without eating it. Nice, right? Luckily my all inclusive resort includes meals brought in, so I know there will be something waiting for me downstairs. I’ve missed breakfast though. This rainy weather just tells me to sleep and sleep, so I did.

Yes, it’s definitely lunch time.

I wonder how many people they think are here? Anyone want to come help me eat all this?

It’s a perfect day to relax and do a lot of nothing. I’ve got a good book and some delicious treats. I might even get some post cards sent out – like a proper vacationing adult might.  Continue reading →

I'll burn that bridge when I cross it.

The Secret Store released a luscious skirt and top at Collabor88 in a wide range of colors. Fashions have become increasingly risque, with transparent fabrics and laces over opaque pieces that would have been lingerie a decade ago. It is one of those fashions that require discernment on the part of designers as it can easily veer toward overexposure and bad taste. In the sure and certain hands of Maylee Oh, though, it is on trend without crossing that line into tacky. How does she avoid the pitfalls? The waist is high enough to cover the navel and the cut of the legs are not too “cheeky.” The bra top is not so skimpy that there is any risk of nip slips and other exposure. This outfit reveals without exposing.

Where this pixel girl hails from we say POP. Pop means any carbonated drink. We do enjoy it, and “Could I get a pop or a diet pop” is a common conversation piece around those parts.
