I Am House Hunting – Or Is It Hunting Me?

I could not resist the temptation to try out the new house from Scarlet Creative at COLLABOR88 this month. Such a lovely, cozy space, I thought maybe, JUST MAYBE I would make a change. Fall is the time I often switch houses and despite missing my tree houses I was thinking perhaps this one is the one? Maybe I should settle into this snug space with it’s interesting little alcoves and hallways?  Continue reading

WWDW

It was a woman's bedroom, actually a boudoir, and no man belonged in it except by invitation.

Maylee Oh of The Secret Store answered the burning question, “What Would Dita Wear?” for the September Collabor88 showcase. And she answered it beautifully with lovely rockabilly lingerie that hits all the right notes. Not only that, she answered ten times over in beautiful color combinations of polka dots and solids.

Flipping For Hair Fair

Flipping For Hair Fair

Hair Fair 2016 opened at midnight and I was so excited I was flipping with joy. Also because I wanted to show off my lovely espadrilles from Mutresse released at Collabor88. Wow! Autocorrect turns Mutresse into Mutters, now that’s one for the books.

Hair Fair is always the most anticipated fundraising event of the year. There are several reasons for it. First, it’s hair. Second, every year the planning and execution is better than the year before. Now, when you may have thought they reached the pinnacle of perfect planning last year and they could not possibly get better, but yet, somehow they did. The biggest change this year was not inward, but was instead on the Hair Fair web site where you will find a gallery of all the shops and all the hairs, a guide to Hair Fair at your fingertips.

Quick Snaps @ Hair Fair

The theme is a movie lot of middle America. It’s all very fun with rows of tract housing for the stores. I know with the guide, you could just pop in and out, but don’t forget how much fun it is to see what they designers get up to decorating their shops.

Lakeside

Escape was in order and sometimes there is nothing for it but the water. This new barge from Trompe Loeil that you can pick up at COLLABOR88 this month is nothing short of perfect for listening to the lapping water and just forgetting the world for a while. Continue reading

There is NOTHING Blah About Tres Blah

Once again Tres Blah rocks my socks at the Arcade. I gotta have it all. Actually – I have most of it now. I just love her work, it’s like she says “What does Gidge need?” and then makes that. Continue reading

And With That I Moved House

I knew what I wanted before I found it. I wanted windows. I wanted sleek and square and modern. Luckily Barnesworth Anubis had already created it so it was there for the rezzing. I can’t decide how to decorate and I’m partially considering not putting out anything old in it. Well, I’m considering it.

I probably won’t. In fact even as I was decorating this morning I did already yet – I kind of love the thought. Fresh clean start for the summer is appealing, you know? Continue reading

Days End Days Begin

My days begin and end the same way, in my bedroom shucking off my clothes or putting on my clothes, looking for comfort or fashion or something in between.

Chocolat Atelier had some adorable lingerie appliers at Epiphany so I had to go get them this past weekend. I always like their machine because they include top or bottom together so hey, adorable lingerie – WIN. I got the pink and white so even better. I don’t care if it’s not the rare. Continue reading
