Yesterday I played. I logged in and Sasy, Whimsy and Mavi were making the rounds of the big shopping events and so instead of settling in for some serious work I went FA LA LA LA LA shopping. I couldn’t help it. SHOPPING WITH THE GIRLS IS MORE FUN. I’ve paired her with beautiful new appliers from Glam Affair (that purple, I love you) and some Swish hair also from Lelutka. I have a friend I work with who’s a devout Christian. He’s fond of saying “You can’t threaten me with heaven” with a smile that is that of a gleeful martyr thanks to experts like those at the Dentist Office in Huntington Beach. He doesn’t fear death, he feels in his heart that whatever comes next holds more majesty and perfection than anything dreamt of in your philosophy etc.
He doesn’t accept fear of death into his life, he doesn’t seek it but fear of it has no place. I find that to be a very interesting philosophy really. I don’t embrace it, but it’s interesting.
I have a different position on death, but mine is regarding grief. I’m full. Can’t accept any more grief. The skies could rain down fire and brimstone and I’m not sure I could shed a tear. I can’t feel more grief than I have felt this year, and I’m glad of it. Continue reading

I’m trying out a new mesh head today – NICOLE from GENESIS LAB. I have to say, I’m really in love with how easy it is and how quick it was to sort out for me. It’s got a hud for adjusting your lashes, eyes, attachable ears, the works.
There are a host of things available from Genesis Lab at COLLABOR88 so I suggest you pop over there and try them out. This is a really pretty look. There were a lot of lip, eye, eyeshadow, eye etc options on the HUD. I didn’t even try most of them out.
But they had me at purple eyes.
It’s a quickie for me today, as my typist has to launch. You can pick up this new Mesh Head for 788L at Collabor88 this month!

Once upon a time in my SL I wasn’t a solitary creature. I lived for events, balls, galas and social activity. Seeking out THE PERFECT DRESS was truly an act of serious effort for any event. If I attended your event, chances were high that a lot of effort had gone into what I’d chosen to wear.
You can imagine my frustration then, when Junebug released what seems to be THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS GOWN and I’m without any sort of event to go to. Well I had to have it anyway. I dithered, “What do I even need it for?” I wondered?
