It’s discouraging when your name doesn’t show up on the list, when you think you’re good enough – or KNOW you’re good enough for XYZ and don’t get chosen.

Cajsa built us a gym on our islands, which really feels even better than my converted bathroom for working out. There is something to be said for getting away from your life and selfishly focusing on yourself for a little. It calms me, it helps me better at focusing on other people when I get that time away. It makes me WANT to get back inside my own house and I feel a little joyful about it when I’ve put everything into a hard work out.

Every once in a while I will get super ambitious and shoot ahead like I’m a young, super enthusiastic blogger who is planning ahead. My enthusiasm is usually crushed by my typists real life and then I’m stuck spinning my wheels around my little island home, decorating and playing my my pets.
