This isn’t a fashion post today. It’s an announcement, a sharing of information. It’s an invitation to gather, to remember, maybe to mourn, maybe to celebrate a life.
On Saturday, September 14th everyone is warmly welcomed to come to Florencia where the Donna Flora main store is located and take the teleport down to the ground level. A memorial garden has been graciously constructed by the amazing Saiyge Lotus, for us all to gather at remember our friend.
At 9 am SLT we will hold a gathering and all are welcome to come, share stories, and feel the warmth and friendship of being with other people who also cared about Squintenet.
Saiyge has also created a special memorial tree, for everyone to take a copy of and plant at your own home, if you so wish.
The garden will remain open during the rest of September and anyone is welcome to use it for your own memorial or to come visit, at any time.

Gidge was so busy all weekend, COLLABOR88 plus the Arcade plus yard sales plus the normal blogger girl stuff, shopping, standing on a pose stand, shopping, standing on a pose stand, a wee bit of entertaining, well, she got tired and passed out in her new bed. I had this blog post planned. A couple of Arcade items, an item from Acid Lily, some Collabor88 – a well rounded event post. I’d shot it over a couple of days, dorking around with lighting, realizing after ten shots I was on medium resolution (this explained a lot).
Then my real life phone rang. The cellphone in my pocket rang – and I looked at it with dread. No one calls you with good news at 7am. No one. It was Cajsa and I knew why she was calling.

Ploom has released one of my all time favorite hair styles that they’ve ever made. It’s got a slightly teased 6os style poof in back but melts into a dreamy whispy look as it’s pulled to the side. I love the HUD options from Ploom – and her blondes are impeccable. This is going to be a great hair style for lots of different looks. Continue reading
