Well, I decided to go for it and move into the Brooklyn Carriage House from Trompe L’oeil. It’s smaller than the big brownstone I was living in and requires a lot less furniture, but I ended up buying some furniture anyway, because that’s what happens when you move. You need new things. Among the new things are this lovely vanity that’s also from Trompe L’oeil and a big blue velvet bed from there as well.

I added this glorious lounge/daybed from Mudhoney that can be found at this month’s Collabor88. The golden key embellishment at the bottom and the gorgeous tassels place it firmly within the Odyssey inspiration and that blue is a rich as the Aegean Sea.

I got dressed out of my Collabor88 closet with a dress from Katatonik and shoes from ANE. The Goddess Dress has the tradtional empire waistline and straps that bare the shoulders and upper back. The waterfall skirt is romantic and reminds me of a nighttime sky filled with the who’s who of Greek mythology. The lace up shoes from ANE are in a gorgeous Dragonskin and are absolutely fascinating.

My hair and jewelry came from by collabor88 closet as well. The wonderful undo from INK is enhanced with a tattoo hair base that transitions from skin to hair beautifully without hard edges. The necklace and earrings are lovely and I am most particularly in love with the necklace.
