I fell for the whimsical dress from CIA Designs that is on sale at Love Donna Flora as soon as I saw those cats peeking over the black line. I love polka dots in the first place and polka dots and cats and this entire feeling of fun and whimsy is charming.

I decided to go shoot my pictures at Quiet After Evening however I was confounded by the glow and lights. It’s beautiful, but when I turned lights off to shoot, everything turned black. That does not normally happen, so I think it was a temporary glitch, but I headed back to my box on a platform to shoot the rest.

It is pure coincidence that Gidge and I both chose the cherry red shoes from BOOM today. We really don’t coordinate these things. However, that merely speaks to their irresistible hotness.

So here’s a close-up of my favorite things, the polka dots, the cats and totally perfect nails from FLAIR. To be honest, when I first saw this manicure set, I wondered why anyone would ever wear it. That black outline looked so extreme and I was pretty dubious. However, when styling this outfit, I remembered these funky FLAIR nails and tried them and they are simply perfect and one of my favorite things about this outfit.

I am wearing a few other favorites, the sexy DIVA skin from PXL Creations for Love Donna Flora and the lovely Heather hair from SLink that I bought at Hair Fair. The fun necklace from Tableau Vivant is a recent release and the pearls and chain colors can be changed.
