Both pixel and RL Gidge hate deciding what to wear. When I say hate, I mean dislike with the fire of 1000 suns. It’s not that we don’t WANT to get dressed and be cute. It’s that, there’s decisions. And more decisions. Pixel Gidge has an inventory the size of the grid. And RL Gidge isn’t much better.
Thus we both tend to sit about not quite done, wondering what to put on next.

Tuli has released new shapes and I thought I’d bring you one today. I’m pretty dogmatic about shape. Shape is your LOOK, your signature. How important that IS to you though, is up to you. Some people are shape chameleons and it’s just another part of the fun and fantasy. Others are like me and our shape is a huge part of our identity. So we’re very hesitant to make changes.
But with summer and swimsuit season upon us, I thought that maybe, just maybe it wouldn’t hurt to cast around and see if there was anything that caught my fancy. We diet for summer in RL, why not change shapes in SL?
I am wearing the “curvy” version of shape number four. The shapes come with hourglass, curvy and natural versions. Curvy is relative. This isn’t as curvy as my regular shape, but far curvier than the stick model shapes some folks like. It’s nicely proportioned and nothing about it makes me go DAMN BIG XYZ.
She is significantly shorter than pixel me and not quite as thick. I posed with her thighs apart so you could get an idea of leg fat – no she isn’t shaped like this I promise. Her legs aren’t too skinny and definitely are well proportioned.
It’s a very young face, a bit too young for me but everyone’s SL isn’t the same so that’s what is wonderful. It very well may be PERFECT for you. It’s got more of a frown that I normally wear – I tend for neutral. However if you search the feeds a bit of frown seems popular, maybe that’s what the kids are doing these days.
I shot all of these pictures in natural light without tweaking the windlight. I feel like with some things it’s important to show you exactly how it would look in your every day SL. Plus sometimes, I just really like the light coming in my Linden house windows.
It’s hard to say though, HOW different is she than regular Gidge? Well, let’s look.
As you can see, she is a lot shorter than I am. To me it’s a really nice teenager sized shape. However that’s solely MY perspective. I meet a LOT of full grown women who love this size shape and that’s obviously AOK. I’m very tall in RL, so being short feels weird to me in any life.
As you can see her arm length on the Tuli shape is good, nice proportions of bust and hip, overall it’s a curvy but not HEY look at this ho kind of look.
It’s a well made, well proportioned shape and it’s just one of several Tuli just released. If you are thinking of doing some shape tinkering, I’d hop over there and see what she’s got that might suit you!
