When I unpacked the glorious “My Feathered Waspie” from La Penderie de Nicole, I realized it was one of those pieces that could be mixed and matched with bits and pieces of other outfits to make fun, new things, giving me a chance to “design my own.”

I added the skirt from an gorgeous old ball gown from Styles of Edo and the feathered shoulder epaulettes from a new release from VoguE. With the waspie, they make an exciting fashion-forward gown.

And it’s gorgeous from the front or back.

If you’re concerned about exposing too much, you can add a layer of discretion from the gown.

Or you can flash your flashables. To match the modern edge, I added Lelutka’s Hera updo. The skin if PXL Creations Kasumi and the earrings are from Mandala.
