In case you slept through yesterday, a new collaboration has launched featuring high quality mesh clothing from two established designers who are working together to develop a line of mesh clothing that is naughty and nice. One Bad Pixel is naughtily sexy, with figure-hugging styles that lay so beautifully against the skin and it’s nicely done, made with attention to detail, flawless texturing and fabulous colors. This is the Pearl dress in Aubergine – just one in a double rainbow of colors.
The store itself is beautifully constructed with softly feminine creams and pinks, a tea room where the opening party was held and a fabulous garden outside. I DJ’ed for the party, putting together a set of fashioncentric music that rattled the windows and rocked the sim.
I decided to go for accessories from the color wheel, taking purple’s opposite or complementary color orange. These Xylia pumps are from Celoe. The color is called Oregon which puzzles me a bit since I think of Oregon as green, green and more green. We don’t get the exciting vibrant colors in autumn as they do in New England because we don’t get cold enough weather. However, this orange is perfect, so I don’t care if it’s called Oregon or Origami.
The dress comes with a hud that allows you to change the color of the lace on the color and sleeves. I went for black when I dressed up for the party. You might notice the lace missing in a couple pictures. For some reason, when I turned on shadows, the lace disappeared. I thought I had fixed that bug by checking render alpha, but with the eleventy million times I crashed yesterday, it’s possible some settings came undone.
The necklace is from Celoe, the earrings are from Paper Couture and the hair styling was done by Truth. The skin is from Lelutka.
