I wanted to share the new July skin in tan with you. It’s a fabulous tan, bronzed and healthy without a hint of orange. Blue looks gorgeous against a nice tan, so I put on this gorgeous hemp shirt from Phoenix Rising. How exciting that even in SL, sustainable fabrics are gaining in the market. The pants are from A-Bomb and about as fun as pants can be, based on the traditional seaman’s pant, they have been modified to make them more feminine and flattering.

Let’s take a moment to admire the prim work here. First the blouse, please notice the dainty rolled cuffs that are right-sized, not out-sized. I love the small, thin rolled cuff prim that is on the right scale. Next, the pant legs. See the clever shadow creasing near where they attach – you can’t actually see exactly where they attach because they are so cleverly done and so well fitted.   The shoes, by the way, are also from A-Bomb and have a fun floral print for a bit of whimsy.

Some fun accessories finish the outfit nicely. The necklace and bracelet are from SPICA. The earrings are from Untone Quilt and come in a high and low prim version. I am wearing the high prim version. The hair is casually messy. The style is called Grace and I wonder if I even have to tell you who made it. The quality and style is that distinctive that hair from this creator is instantly recognizable. However, just in case you’re new, I will let it slip that the hair is from Truth.

One of the hallmarks of Hart Larsson’s skin work for PXL Creations is that the makeups are modulated to perfectly suit the skin tone. So the red, coffee, pale or any other color lipstick is slightly different on the different skin tones – as are the shadows. This means that the tones are harmonious and luscious – and the colors suit the tone. It’s this attention to detail that keeps him perfecting a skin for months – releasing few skins over time, but much higher quality skins.
