Oh, the Designer Showcase Network dropped another stunning dress on me. This lovely Hothouse Flower from Ingenue showed up in my inbox and reminds me how much I love Ingenue’s lovely vintage clothing. This dress, however, seems to indicate some new, more contemporary, styles are coming out as well. The sculptie bodice is a delight and after increasing it just a bit to fit the bust, it was perfect. I also have to give her props for attaching the bodice to the right pec, leaving the spine and chest free for jewelry.
It’s odd how serendipituos shopping for clothes can be. I just went to Albero and while my main purpose was mining for finds at the accessory fair, I stopped in a few shops and could not resist a couple items, including these shoes from Cube Sugar. For some reason, I forgot to file them away so when I put on the dress from Ingenue, there they were winking at me…and they were right to wink. Look how well they suit the dress.
So, I am still in love with the DrLife hair Leah – which I am still wearing any chance I get. The necklace and earrings are from luc fashion jewelry and a delightful match to the dress. And the skin…well let’s give you a closer look at this June bloom…
Of course, it’s Curio’s new June makeup. This one is Swan 1, the dark tone of Sundust. I could not have found a better makeup for this dress. I love the fresh bloom on the skin. It’s lovely.
