Best Kimono IN THE WORLD

I was a little bored yesterday so I hit up Seraphim to see what if any new to me events might be worth a gander. Okinawa Summer Festival was a JACKPOT.  I love events that have things to do, things to see, fun AND shopping all in the same place. This one does not disappoint.

Water Balloon! YOYO! Both things are TRUE!

First thing I got to do was play a little game to pick a bouncy balloon thingy. WHAT IS IT? It’s like a YO YO it’s LIKE A WATER BALLOON! I could HIT people with it if I liked!  This is brilliant.

My next favorite part were these AMAZING food stalls. I just went to each one, stuffing my face ridiculously. I’m not even sorry. But isn’t festival food the best part of any event in RL? I love that they are here – plus they are for sale – I’m so tempted….


I love the eating and not gaining weight life.

The gachas are reasonably priced and fun at this event. I picked up several very fun items that were just a delight to grab. PLUS – they have an old “discontinued” gachas section where everything is at a discount. You can bet your ass I picked up a bunch of nonsense over there. 25L a pull? I NEED 10 of them. WHATEVER IT IS!

Let’s face it, I’m now an official fangirl of this event.

I don’t know what this is. But I’m gonna eat it.

How many rings is too many?

Good morning all. I’m slowly getting my morning motivation going. I’ve got to go grocery shopping, maybe see if anything is left from FLF (I forgot to go yesterday ouch), and do some house cleaning. 

I stopped over at the Notice me Senpai event and picked up this cute top in a gacha. It’s a cute event. 

What are your plans for this weekend? I feel like I need to be social. BUT WILL I? Stay tuned…

Dear Diary, I Almost Moved

Dear Diary….

Well, I almost moved yesterday. I have toyed with the idea of moving to one of the new Linden homes, I rather like the idea yet –  I’m terribly happy here on my little patch of mainland truly. Living in this snowy land with my friend Putrid as my neighbor is comforting and dozy. I keep the fires blazing and truly, I don’t have complaints.

Yet, I’m intrigued by the neighborhood concept over on Bellisaria.

I have never seen a NEW Linden neighborhood available on the Linden home list, so yesterday in a bit of leisure time I consulted the knowledge base known as Plurk and was assured that I was looking in the right place – that they just don’t show up if they are not available.  I was told to refresh aggressively and that would be my best shot at getting one when one popped up available.

I did this a few times, just for grins, when suddenly one popped up. It said to name my land and hit continue and I do confess, in a panic, I DID SO. I didn’t think about whether or not I wanted to move I was just suddenly hit with this moment of “OH NO THIS IS IT THIS IS MY CHANCE!” and hit continue.

And then it said I had to get rid of my current 1024, or have 1024 available or something and well my friends, it was over.

I came home in a state of disappointment until I sat down again in front of my fire, in my wooden shelter surrounded by snowy mountains and I remembered “I like it here.”

My friend Luna Jubilee cam over for waffles and I realized I’m not ready to move house again, not yet.  I don’t need to move to visit and socialize – the grid is one of the few places in the world where distance isn’t a viable hindrance to anything. 

So I’ll stay put. 

I just have to figure out what to wear with these ice cream shoes I got at Gachaland.

So sad that this ride is out of commission.

I was feeling a bit like getting out when I saw that Gachaland was open, and I’m a sucker for fun gacha events, so I bounced over to see what was what. Beyond just the fun of giving a pull here and there for crap I don’t need, I was excited to get to PLAY on their rather macabre themed rides.

I like to get out and DO things, and this event provided me a lot of entertainment this fine day.

I got ZERO points which is some bullshit you guys. I totally killed those Zombies!

I shot at Zombies, wished the Kissing Booth had an attendant and rode rides. I pulled the lever a few times and was delighted with what I got.  It’s kind of refreshing, not having a desperate need to have the entire set, nor having to pull 56431644 times to get the piece YOU NEED to make something an outfit.

Recommend this ride, yes I do.

I picked up this adorable dress there, although I admit I didn’t notice it was rocking the half boob which isn’t particularly my thing. It might be yours – so HALF BOOB LOVERS – rejoice!

I cannot deny that the Lucky Wheel gave me a good omen. I can always use the luck!

I’m wearing a super fun and festive hair in even MORE festive color from EXILE today. What more could a girl ask for? A carnival and a gacha event to kick off the week? PERFECTION.

Two of my favorite things, macarons and the ability to set people on fire, are both available at the up coming round of The Arcade. I have to admit you would probably only get a wee bit singed by my friend here yet, I can dream.

The hat and purse are two of my favorites for this round. You can get the purse in rigged or unrigged versions which is helpful for you who have need of one vs. the other. It’s so cute, I would totally carry this purse in RL. Continue reading →

I decided to head out for some adventure exploring today and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Kowloon was a really well planned out city-scape and I’m going to be going back to explore more. I’m still playing with the glory that is the Baked on Mesh concept – the idea that our old system layers can be baked onto our beautiful mesh.

it’s fairly fascinating and wonderful honestly.  Today I decided to do some swimming and to celebrate what’s possible I’m wearing an amazing new bikini from Blueberry – paired with a skin from………MOTHER GOOSE.

Does it Get Weirder Than Baked on Mesh?

I continue to play with the concept of Bakes On Mesh (WHY CAN’T WE CALL IT BAKED ON MESH?) and decided there was no more fun place to see what I could do than at my good friend Putrid’s place.

Putrid likes weird, and I like Putrid. It’s perfect.

I wandered around her club Sticky Fingers and was quite entertained to realize that my tattoos still show up properly over my “BAKED ON MESH SKIN”. I’d like to understand how the layering of all that works but no, I’m just going to pass and say WELL DONE THIS IS AWESOME.
