Hello there. I’ve just finished watching the first season of Shadow and Bone, and I absolutely loved it. So much so that I spent the past few days roaming through the grid in search of items to channel my best Alina Starkov look. Be warned, it may not be perfect, but it’s my take on the character and I’m pretty chuffed with it.
It took me quite a bit to put together the look, and I discovered some stores and events I’d never shopped at before.

Hair Fair. Probably the best event for a hair addict like me. I have over hundreds of hairstyles, but I keep buying more, and I have a good excuse for that : six regions of hair and hair accessories created by designers from all over Second Life who have come together to help Wigs for Kids by donating a percentage of everything they sell to the charity. Also, GIFTS! Let me show you some of the pretty things you can find.
When one starts sorting their inventory, one of two things can happen : either one finds adorable things that perfectly match one another, or one gets lost in the neverending mess and ends up hours later, bald, with mismatched head and body skin, green lips, purple skirt, a flip-flop on one foot and a ski boot on the other, holding a penis thrower from circa 2008. Let’s be honest, the odds of the first happening are not good.
Today, however, a miracle happened. I was going through an old folder and stumbled upon that very cute head band from Chocolate Atelier, and it was going perfectly with my hair, cute earrings from Euphorie, and so on and so forth…
The only thing I couldn’t seem to find was make-up, mostly because most of what I own (a lot) isn’t made for EvoX. So I went to Shiny Stuffs and found exactly what I needed.

Blueberry is turning 9! For the occasion group members get store credit and gifts, and there’s a sale that’s already been extended a few times because the sims are constantly full. I have a crappy graphic card. Brand new computer but awful, awful graphic card. But today I got to try Black Dragon on the hubby’s pc and, well, it makes a lot of a difference.
