I am not feeling overly inspired to write anything today, but I wanted to show you a few gorgeous things that I found these past few weeks, at events, stores, or buried deep in my inventory. I’ll start with the hair. I’ve been in the Truth VIP group since the very beginning of the new concept, and some months I barely logged in, or if I did I was too busy with other things to really check what the gift was. So when I found Ginevra, last November’s gift, I just went wow. The super pretty glasses are free from Balaclava, they were the demo for this week’s Fifty Linden Friday offer. You know what’s funny? I started putting together that outfit a few days ago, and the weather was bright and sunny and frankly a bit too hot for me out here. I guess I was hoping for a little rain to cool the air. Well it worked, I was awaken in the middle of the night by the sound of very heavy rain.

So a friend of mine on plurk has been chatting up about adventures on mainland for some time now, talking about a magical backpack that just transports you ANYWHERE and boom there you are.

It sounds nutty and I’m pretty sure that by now you know, I LOVE THINGS THAT ARE NUTTY. So I had to get one. I decided to head out for some adventure exploring today and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Kowloon was a really well planned out city-scape and I’m going to be going back to explore more. Guess what? I put together another very cool look, with the last of my FaMESHed gifts. Pyjamas, socks, earrings and necklace are free from the event. I promise, in a few days I’ll also show you things one actually has to pay for. In the meantime, let me enjoy the beauty of my l$ balance not dropping down for a couple more hours.

This month’s Fameshed is an anniversary round, and most of the designers there have gifts for visitors. The problem with gifts at events is that usually, it’s one tiny crappy item that absolutely doesn’t reflect the quality of the designer. I always wonder why they even bother, if anything, it gives the brand bad publicity. Well, this time, it’s different. I was able to set up a complete outfit, only with freebies from the event. I highly recommend going, there are some gorgeous things that I’m going to go back and buy.
