Well made myself a proper breakfast and have my plans for today. I like to spend Sundays in some combination of busy fun and relaxation. It’s a perfect day for baking and relaxing – which I’ve already started while I eat my delicious breakfast.

What do you like to bake as fall moves in? I’m a traditionalist, at the first hint of cool air I’m ready for apple everything and the pumpkin spice.

Moving Back Home

After leaving the islands where Cajsa and I were so happy for several years, I’ve returned to a spot on one of what was always my favorite places….Juicy.

It’s a tropical paradise you see, and just the sort of escape I can use from time to time. There’s room here for both Cajsa and I to enjoy the surf and relaxation of a well kept sim, as well as beautiful shops at our fingertips. It’s a bloggers’ dream really.

I’ve got a bit unpacked, but I found a record player and I am afraid I indulged in a bit of fun for a while rather than working.

I’ve got to find a spot to rezz all my old house so I can drag out the things I can’t get unpacked.

I got dressed this morning and felt like doing a bit of exploring. Of course then I couldn’t find anything that wasn’t crap for about an hour.  I was about to give up, and declare today’s round of exploration a fail when I Bryn Oh’s name came up in my searching for this and that. Weekend Get Away

I decided that what would make the perfect weekend would be to get away to the lake for a while. Trompe Loeil has released the Deja house which frankly is perfect for LAKE or BEACH and since I live on the ocean, I opted for lake! The open view across the front lets me sit and gaze at the lapping waters, and just relax without a care for a few days.

It’s perfect.

I’m excited for a few days off from my 2nd Reality. I’m going to be looking for adventure and fun, hopefully I’ll find some!

The month of May might mean flowers and bright colors to you, but to those of us from Indianapolis it only means one important thing.

THE INDY 500.

I’ve written about it before, but let me assure you it’s not changed. Black and white rule the day and I’m delighted to have realized it’s TIME and to be here to celebrate this time of the absence of color. We love black and white, and you might be surprised to learn that despite this being a hot sweaty mess of a race day, there are a lot of quite elegant events that accompany it – and everyone, I mean EVERYONE is dressed in Black and White. What’s Your Poison At The Arcade?

I have a troubling problem. I am addicted to the sweets that are created in SL. Maybe it’s not just because I love them in real life, but the more beautiful they are the more likely it is must have them.

The ARCADE is a breeding ground for such creations and I have to admit, I love them for it. Wedding cake? I don’t need a wedding. I’ve got a cake. I’d rather have the cake, frankly.

The Arcade, that bastion of goodness you didn’t know you needed, is closing tomorrow at midnight. All the lovely things will go away and you’ll have to wait three months.

I on the other hand will be stuffing my face like a monster with these sweets.

It’s not too late!

Get over there before they are gone!

I Might Have An Addiction

One of the things I love about The Arcade is it’s ever continuing magic when it comes to providing us with more things for the narrative of our individual SLs.

For me, that narrative is chocked full of…..pets.

My friend and fellow blogger visited the other day and said if it was a RL house it would smell, it was so full of pets. Alas it’s true. I’ve got this dog and that cat and the other thing, not to mention my Kittycats themselves. Give me your pets, your fishtanks, your sweet little loves to run around my house and make it less empty.
