I may have made myself too much food for this gloomy Saturday but honestly, I’ll just nibble on it all weekend. It’s FIIIIINE. These stupid dogs though, suddenly I can’t get rid of them. They’re following me everywhere just staring at me. They didn’t love me like this earlier.

The real life Gidge just got out of the hospital again. Lucky for her it was a short stay. Pixel Gidge was SO tired of being cooped up that she just HAD to get out and get over to the beach at Rainbow Reef to enjoy the waves and the overall chill of the place. Sometimes you just need to relax.
I’m bovine themed today, from my suit, to my nails to my eyeshadow. Truth be told I can’t figure out how to get my eyeshadow off. But it helped create a look for today so I’m not THAT upset.
Now that I’m settled in, I’m ready for some pixel fun. Who’s with me?

My typist just returned from a week’s vacation so I had to beg her to let me out. Letting me out involved a lot of shopping with some much deserved respite on the beach when it was over. Even when she’s not around, I’m pretty happy I have this quiet spot here to relax.
Are you ready for your Monday? Are big things ahead? I don’t know what my Monday holds but I’m excited and ready for it.
People seem to be VERY torn about the new Linden home theme CHALETS so I decided to go give them a look-see after Gogo posted the demo area SLURL on Plurk.
I admit I’m a dedicated Bellisserite. Bellissarian ? Regardless, I love my Linden home. I love the gorgeously landscaped neighborhoods and the beautiful homes. I’m still in a Victorian, loathe to give up my amazing beach spot. Might not give it up – we’ll just see won’t we.
So the theme seems to be a sort of a Dutch happening, with windmills and tulips. This demo area is a little sparse – maybe I’m spoiled with the AMAZING lush areas they built for Victorians and Traditional? Or perhaps I’m being picky as this is just a demo. I’ll assume that’s the case.
They had a bit of a brewfest park set up. I’m not sure if this would be part of the outdoor design. I would say that if it is – the beers should give me a beer. Don’t tease me with beer. That’s just unkind. Also these beers are nuts – way more than this pixel girl can drink.
My quibbles with this style are small. I’m unsure of the color schemes. They just don’t do it for me. Maybe they do it for you? That’s cool if so. One thing I do like in the various models I walked are the big open rooms with nice space for camming around. I HATE SMALL ROOMS where I am always struggling to see. Nice job moles.
This is my favorite model. Windows, windows, windows. The one quibble I’ve had with all my Linden homes is either that the windows suck OR they aren’t facing what is beautiful where I live. Such as I live on the beach, the ocean is behind me. I want to see the beach, but the windows at the back of my house SUCK.

This one meets my needs of great open rooms and wonderful windows. Very cute. The color is eh, but maybe the choices would spruce it up?
It was an interesting jaunt around the chalets. They aren’t for me, but I think it’s cool that they are really creating lots of different styles to appeal to everyone. But now that I’m back on Bellisseria I’ve decided to tool around and decide if I want to pull out a different house model for a while. I’ve been in this 1 story for a while. Who knows?
I’ve done a bit of wandering today. I couldn’t figure out why I was only bringing up some really lame locations from search. I love to just search random terms and see where I end up. It turns out my search wasn’t logged in properly and I was only bringing up G rated locations. There are so many amazing builds across the grid, I never know where I’m going to end up. This little shanty town offered a lovely waterfront view as well as some snacks and games.
It looks like amphibious plane is the best way to get here if you can’t teleport in. Adventure abounds in this spot.
I’ve had such a good time exploring this location. I love this bird. I kinda want it.

After a busy pixel day I came home determined to get into something comfortable and just BE for a while. Maybe read a book or just listen to music and relax. You know those kinds of plans? Where you think if I can just get into something comfortable my day will be restored to peace?
I got in to something comfortable, and relaxed across my bed and that’s where I landed.
Did Putrid specifically get the baby pool out for me? I’ll never know, but I have to say I spent a lot of time getting wrinkled fingers in it this weekend. It’s a perfect size for a party of 1!
Lake swimming isn’t always my favorite but I have to say, these waters are gorgeous. The linden trailers are so cute, especially lake or river side.
Alas, I’ve got to go home and get back to my regularly scheduled SLife.
I decided to get away from home for the weekend. I’m lakeside at my friend Putrid’s Linden Trailer. I’m planning to relax and unplug for a few days before I return to my equally relaxing life at The Elms.
My hair today is SOLELY the fault of Sydd Sinister who posted these on Facebook and I was ridiculously intrigued by this very silly Spongebob and Patrick inspired hair. There’s probably a bit of copyright infringement in the hair-sticks.
Cooking out on the grill never feels like cooking. It’s just heat and flame and magical delicious meat. I should start cooking out every day at home. It was a perfect lakeside afternoon for it.
Putrid was kind enough to add me to her TV so after I feast on this I’m gonna stretch out inside for a post dinner nap with a murder show on the TV.
It’s a pretty good Saturday night on the grid. Hope yours is the same.
