What’s the point of living on an island if you can’t play in the water sometimes? I often wonder that and Blueberry’s new wet tee shirt look has reminded me I can roam the seas of my own shore and should do more often. Continue reading

The month of May might mean flowers and bright colors to you, but to those of us from Indianapolis it only means one important thing.
THE INDY 500.
I’ve written about it before, but let me assure you it’s not changed. Black and white rule the day and I’m delighted to have realized it’s TIME and to be here to celebrate this time of the absence of color. We love black and white, and you might be surprised to learn that despite this being a hot sweaty mess of a race day, there are a lot of quite elegant events that accompany it – and everyone, I mean EVERYONE is dressed in Black and White. Anyone who’s actually been to Paris, I mean, really been there, spent time, will tell you that it’s not at all the romantic city people think it is. The smell is horrible, there’s dog poop everywhere, people are rude… Whenever I spend even just one day there, my hair gets super dirty, and I can’t breather properly. If you ever plan on visiting France, let me know, I’ll give you the name of a dozen other cities you’ll love, just, not Paris.

Someone on Plurk was saying the other day that they miss ETD. For those of you who weren’t around then, ETD (Elikapeka Tiramisu Designs) used to be a famous hair brand in SL, that disappeared for a while, and then the designer came back under a new brand, Elikatira. Well you know what? I think her hair now is just as good as it used to be, and the little number she pulled yesterday for Fifty Linden Fridays proves it. Janiah is a super cute hairstyle, that matches perfectly with my lovely Tres Blah dress.

I am not feeling overly inspired to write anything today, but I wanted to show you a few gorgeous things that I found these past few weeks, at events, stores, or buried deep in my inventory. I’ll start with the hair. I’ve been in the Truth VIP group since the very beginning of the new concept, and some months I barely logged in, or if I did I was too busy with other things to really check what the gift was. So when I found Ginevra, last November’s gift, I just went wow. The super pretty glasses are free from Balaclava, they were the demo for this week’s Fifty Linden Friday offer. Make sure to check FaMESHed this month if you haven’t yet, the Tres Blah dress is yet another little wonder.

So a friend of mine on plurk has been chatting up about adventures on mainland for some time now, talking about a magical backpack that just transports you ANYWHERE and boom there you are.
It sounds nutty and I’m pretty sure that by now you know, I LOVE THINGS THAT ARE NUTTY. So I had to get one. I’ve decided that until I forget about it or get bored or decide not to do it anymore, I’m going to make Wednesdays about some random exploration. I had a ridiculous time doing it today. Continue reading

You’ve caught me out and about. But am I coming or going? I’ll never tell. But what I will share is that both me and my typist have an affinity for sweet tea and I just had to acquire a few cans. Continue reading

I decided to head out for some adventure exploring today and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Kowloon was a really well planned out city-scape and I’m going to be going back to explore more. I met some locals there down in one of the sublevel gathering areas who treated me to some of the local fair – roasted scorpion! Continue reading

I was in a bit of a camp out mood last night, and luckily Cheeky Pea recently released some amazing glamping gear for Epiphany. There is something about relaxing in the fresh ocean air that really refreshes this old pixel girl. Continue reading
