It’s a fuzzy sweater time of year and I’m trolling the mean streets looking for what’s new and exciting.
Collabor88 opens it’s doors with a new round and I’m wearing some of the goodies right now. Continue reading

I had to go an see it with my own eyes, the place that was so driven by drama of late. I have thoughts, some of which I’ve shared on plurk. They are as follows.
This place is truly a bloggers paradise. It’s an insane resource for those of us who do this as vocation in SL. I think it’s a rather lovely thing to provide to people. It’s not unlike some of us who go to sims decorated just for photography.
I don’t throw my backdrops away. As a blogger, I keep them ad infinitum because I never know when I might need that dragon turtle station wagon surfboard set again. So I keep them. I mention this because apparently there is a belief that we throw them away. I guess some do. I do not.
What this place HAS done for me is introduce me to MORE brands that I need to patronize and give lindens to because THEY make really great stuff. Continue reading

I couldn’t decide what to wear for my New Year’s Eve. I wasn’t sure I was going to go out or not, you see. But it turned out my friend Putrid was out dancing while Oakley spun tunes and I couldn’t resist. Luckily I had put on “what if I go out” clothes before I logged out last time. Continue reading
I stopped by Groenland today for a short visit. Most of the mass of Greenland is ice, but not on this sim. I guess it’s in one of the areas where the ice has been melting. It reminded me of “Rotten Ice” an excellent article in Harpers by Gretel Ehrlich. It seemed appropriate during the cold snap affecting much of America which prompted the popular-vote-losing President to show he does not know the difference between climate and weather. Sadly, far too many politicians don’t know the difference or they pretend not to know. Sometimes it’s hard to believe they are that ignorant, then I listen to Louis Gohmert and realize there’s no such thing as not too ignorant.

I took some respite at a mountain cabin for a day or two. I tried my hand at art and learned I’m just not very good at it. I also met a very cheeky snowman who seemed QUITE delighted to meet me.
I can’t say that I blame him. Continue reading

It cracks me up that Gidge was attracted to the same dress from Ambrosia at the Kurenai event. Not identical, though since she chose pink and I chose green which is kind of automatic for us if you think about it. I love the frilly romanticism that goes so over the top it becomes exactly right. Kind of like camp, if you do it, you can’t do just a little.

I have no explanation for why there are baby seals on my platform. They are far above any source of water but they appeared, they were cute, I let them stay, and so here they are. They were made my MishMash, can be found at Collabor88, and they are too cute to care if they have no rationale for being here.

Onyx Leshelle was a darling and gave away 7 lovely gifts to Maitreya group members for Christmas. Among those AMAZING finds is this beautiful dress which I thought might make a PERFECT evening gown to ring in the new year. What do you think? Continue reading

Santa came and brought the love as always. Now there is nothing for it but the clean up and it’s time to start thinking about those resolutions isn’t it? It’s time to consider what to change and what to keep?
I’m struggling right now because I’m really quite in love with this head from LAQ. But I also love MAY from Lelutka. WHATS A GIRL TO DO?
Just like the bodies, ROTATE!! Continue reading

Flo and I are wrapping up our Christmas eve with some end of day writing in my journal, and thinking thoughts. I am thinking about how lucky I am to have all of you, and of all the people who aren’t here any more whom I miss.
But eventually I had to get some sleep. So much to do tomorrow! Continue reading

One of my favorite little fun things from The Arcade this round are the sweet little Purritos, baby kittens wrapped up for you to love. I couldn’t resist giving this one some much deserved love and attention today as I get ready for the big day tomorrow. Continue reading
