Oh yes, the season is upon us. That wonderful season of peace on earth, goodwill toward man (so long as he isn’t between you and the two dollar waffle iron). In Second Life, it’s the season for the Peace on Earth Hunt, advent calendars and wintry sims full of joy and generosity. Today the Peace on Earth Hunt begins with over 200 participating stores crafting delightful surprises that they have cleverly hidden in their stores. Because it’s such a massive hunt, stores were required to place the hunt item within 40m of the sign and hints are provided on the official blog, so rest assured that you can make your way through the hunt while still keeping the wonderful seasonal spirit of joy and celebration.

Another seasonal delight opens today at the KittyCats Winterland sim – where stores have created fun and endearing tableaux with KittyCatS for your enjoyment. You can even vote for your favorites, though how to choose favorites among so many is a challenge. While I was there, I wore this outfit from Abia Capalini for the Peace on Earth Hunt. By outfit, I mean everything, the sweater, leggings, scarf, leg warmers and tennis shoes were all included in this generous gift. The kitty thinks she’s cuter, though.

There’s one gift a day at the KittyCatS Winterland Advent calendar – you can go backwards and pick up gifts you miss, but you can’t go forward and get a sneak peek on upcoming gifts.

While I was there, I peeked in on Santa Claws and company and it looks like they are busily preparing for Christmas!

I love the colors and the cozy textures of this sweaterdress. The teal, burgundy and gray are such a winning color combination. I am so grateful for the scarf that keeping the chill off from such a deep neckline. The fun and flirty hair is from CatWa.

This is sneak peek of PXL Creations new Kate skin line. He’s madly working on the eye makeup and expects to launch within two weeks. I can’t resist, though, sharing the excitement with the new lipsticks he’s made – look, they’re glossy. He also mentioned that the makeups from Gaia will work with this skin – essentially doubling your options once the line is released.

I peeked in on these cats playing poker. I hesitate to point it out, but in all fairness I must. The cat with the cigar is cheating.
