I shot these first very colorful pics on my “old” computer that, while it chugs and hummmmms, will run viewer 2 with a reasonable amount of success. It doesn’t LIKE it much and it won’t load all my inventory suddenly but you know, I can make it work.
I was rather excited to see that the developers at Phoenix have released the beta of FIRESTORM for public download and couldn’t wait to take it for a run on my new computer.
So I decided to add more pics than this post needed to see what the difference in quality and perfomance was, for the same styled outfit.
I stayed in the studio as I’m not entirely sure of all the graphics settings and variables – I’m learning. But I’m really impressed so far. ALL of my inventory loaded (huzzah) and it’s got an option to upload directly to FLICKR when you take photos – as well as it saves your location, which is going to be awesome for location shoots.
My only quibble thus far is it seems to keep resetting my rendervolumeLODfactor back to less than two – I just noticed it in the pic of the hair above – not quite Truth’s vision I’m sure. Sorry.
Firestorm gets an F for messing up Truth’s hair! Kidding. I’ll just have to reshoot it for another post cuz it’s the cute.
Anyway, that’s all the news. Firestorm Viewer = WIN for this blogger.
Gidge out.

Interesting. I’m tempted to download and try it, but I’m resisting so far. I think I’ll let you and the others smoke out the bugs first. (grin)
