I had such a hard time finding a place to shoot photo pics last night. I ran around all over the place but I must have been bringing the Three Bears along with me because this sim was too hot and that sim was too cold and this sim was too soft and that sim was too hard. I seldom get in that nothing suits me mood and hate it because it really is me, not the sims that is out of sorts. I finally ended up at Mysterious Wave which has something for every bear with its many different exhibits.
On the clothing front, though, I was pleased with everything. I started the outfit out with the gauntlets. And therein lies a story. The other day I was browsing through some clothing and fashion sites and drooling over real life clothes and posted a plurkload of “please make these in SL” clothing porn. Imagine my delight when shortly after Tracy Rubble of Nzuri dropped me off one of items I had been lusting after – black gauntlets with dainty bows at the wrist. I love the combination of edgy goth gauntlets with the feminine detail of the bows. So thanks so much Tracy. I love my gauntlets. And guess what? She names them Cajsa Gauntlets. /me swoons!
I wanted the outfit to combine the same elements as the gloves and thought of this fun black and white dress from The Secret Store with a bit of bright yellow trim. It’s called Crazy Banana and it is adorably cute in every way. But I needed to give it an edge and so I took off the dress part of the dress, keeping just the glitch top and sleeves and added this sexy, hot skirt from R.icielli. I love the combination and I love how the bow of the skirt really ties it together with the gauntlets.
By happy coincidence, A-Bomb just released the perfect shoe to accompany this outfit. With its color-changing hud it even has the bit of bright yellow trim.
And of course, with 2.0, I can wear the cherry manicure that came with my Adam N Eve Sakura skin and wear the gauntlets as well. They mani/pedi also comes on a tattoo layer for maximum flexibility. By the way, aren’t those shoes swoon-worthy?
I have had this necklace and earrings from Caitlyn’s forever, or so it seems. And any time I think about cleaning it out of my inventory, I think – but do I have anything quite like it and the answer is always no. I love the bright, fun, quirkiness and even though it’s old, it still makes me happy. The hair is the new Inverted hairdo from Lelutka. I think this will be one that I reach for again and again. I really like its loose and free feeling.
Also reaching for something old, I pulled out Lelutka’s Lola skin which was released in May 2010. Skin years are like dog years, you know. However, I love this skin and nobody makes such a perfect yellow eye shadow. It’s a keeper.
I am adding a nod to Di’s Opera for the poses. Bloggers and fashion photographers often make the best poses because poses are so integral to the work. Di Hoorenbeek is an exemplary blogger for Modavia and her poses are as singular and dramatic as I expected from the fabulous work she does in her photos.

Hi Cajsa 😀 I’m glad you liked the gauntlets. I don’t usually work on the arms if I can avoid it so I enjoyed the challenge.
Thanks xxx
