I am stealing a segment and the title from D. H. Lawrence’s poem. You know, for all his notoriety for Lady Chatterley’s Lover, Sons and Lovers and Women In Love, I always thought he wrote most passionately about nature. He wrote as though he wanted to strip and roll around naked in the grass and describe all the pokes and prickles, the fresh scents and the soft springiness.
And the ghostly, creamy coloured little tree of leaves
white, ivory white among the rambling greens
how evanescent, variegated elder, she hesitates on the green grass
as if, in another moment, she would disappear
with all her grace of foam!
This was shot at Emerald Green where little surprises like this lovely garden are hidden around every corner.
Today I am wearing a gorgeous lace top from Ribbon with a delightfully feminine floral skirt from Solita for the Help Japan fundraiser. I added the City Wedges shoes from Kookie because I love their soft pastels. I just wish they were Viewer 2.0 shoes. The alpha layer to hide our feet makes me spoiled and impatient with invisiprims, but as always, it’s just a matter of finding the right angle.
Kavar from Exile is on a tear, creating amazing long hair that has a dynamic, free and easy look to it. I am loving his new releases. This one is Hayley and how good is it? Well, I tp’ed over to see Gidge and she was wearing the same hair!
Beautiful cloisonne jewelry from Bliensen and Maitai and the soft femininity of Tuli’s Zoe complete the look.
