I don’t know about you, but my first impulse when I put on a sleek and silky dress is to rush right out in the snow for picture-taking. I am not alone in this as you know if you, like me, enjoy looking at all the pictures from other bloggers.

When I put on this gorgeous plum colored gown from Donna Flora, I immediately had to ask the seals at the lovely Winter Solstice sim what they thought of the riotous roses on the sleeves and shoulders. They approved.


Seriously, aren’t they wonderful? The updo is luscious, too, and comes from kik.

The jewelry is a gorgeous choker and earrings from Bliensen and Maitai who have been producing stunning vintage-inspired creations lately. The skin is Tuli’s new Eva and, as is every skin released by Tuli, elegant and flawless.

Winter Solstice is so beautiful I shot a set of photos of the sim – suitable for folks to use as a background for their own photos. I put them in Sasy Scarborough’s SL Stock Images Flickr Group. Her idea is to create a group to which anyone can contribute SL photos suitable to use for backgrounds for those who prefer to shoot in front of a green screen and pop in a background in photoshop. Check it out….and be sure to look past the sixty some pictures I just added. There’s a lot of variety in there.
